You realize you can fall forever and never run out of stars. 4.5 stars. Magical. Magical. Magical. Laini Taylor is absolutely magical. Her words are beautiful, her characters are quirky, and I am in love with the atmospheric charm.I want my own Night of Cake & Puppets.

Dazzling and sweet and romantic and lovely. This story left me a puddle of swoon whose happy ripples were dancing through my blood. Taylor has such a wonderful way with words and she paints a sumptuous visual world. I actually liked this better than Daughter of Smoke and Bone.

I love Zuzanna from the series, and the way she has set out to help Karou, and the way she simply accepted Karou's magic like her blue hair. It's also re...

And now my head feels full of moonlight or starlight or something. Or snow. My head feels like a snow globe that's been shaken, and the glitter is swirling around it like unmoored stars. I love that they're both so in love... this was most awesome and adorable.

This was fun. Zuzana is really great character. And this was a really fun, magical first meeting. Loved it.

I love these characters. Zuzana is funny, entertaining and endearing and I loved her story of winning Mik's heart. The writing is superb and it made me long for Dreams of Gods & Monsters all the more. Taylor has crafted whole, believable characters with a sincere charm that I can't get enough of. I ...
