I only made it a few chapters in before I got sick of Antoinette. She's kind of a terrible person.
Antoinette started out as a strong heroine, but got weaker as the book progressed. She spent a lot of time at Christian's house (and hooking up with Christian). Their insta-love happened a little too fast. It wasn't believable since she had hatred for all things vamp. Overall average for me.
I was thinking of giving it a 2 but I just could not cos I was sooooo bored. At one time I almost fell asleep and at another time I had no idea who this one guy was. I could not focus, I did not care.What went wrong? I do not know. The world building seemed ok, the writing was good. But I never grew...
3.5 Good first, and I'll be continuing with it!
I totally love this book! Antoinette Petrescu is a terrific kick-ass heroine who takes no shit from anyone.
