I admit it. I cried. Read it all in one day because I was addicted. The start was slow, and awkward, but as teenagers we really are. I'd do anything to be able to write a book that could make selfish, bitter girls pay attention for a moment and cry, like I did.
Tessa is dying of cancer. She has sorta of come to terms with it. She has a list of everything she wants to do before she dies. She has come to terms with her dying, but it's her family and friends who have greater difficulty.
This is powerful and deeply moving book about a teenager dying of cancer. Jenny Downham writes with great bravery and immediacy and with absolutely no compromises.
