Oh, the Places You'll Go is a classic children's book by Dr. Seuss. This book encourages students to set their expectations in life, HIGH. Through all life's struggles, trials, and tribulations, it encourages students to keep their head up and keep moving forward. The intended audience for this book...

I love this book and would honestly recommend for kindergarten through sixth grade and maybe even higher than that. This is one of those books that no matter which grade I teach I will want it in my classroom library. It is an insanely good, positive book! This book has so many lessons that could co...

This book will be used for several reasons in my classroom. It can be used for end of the year encouragement, beginning of the year encouragement, and discouraged students. I would use this for any grade but I would love to use it for Kindergarteners going into 1st grade.

It can also be used to spark a variety of writing prompts for any grade level. I recently taught a pre-writing lesson, u...

Who doesn't love Dr. Seuss? I plan to have multiple of his books in my classroom. This one is such an encouraging and even motivational book for any age. I think it would be a cute idea to read this at the end of the school year to the class. Another activity that would be fun is after reading this,...

I don't know it took me so long to read this, but I'm glad I finally did it. If I had read this a coulpe of years ago, I can assure it would have helped me so much. I can say that this is one of the most beautiful words I've read. It's so short but so full of content. And I wish that, someday, I cou...
