So Bond heads to the Swiss Alps posing as a heraldry expert . . . and almost blows his cover in the first 24 hours beca...

Bond stubbed out his cigarette, gave a quick glance round their trysting-place to fix its banality in his mind, and walked to the door, leaving the fragments of his old life torn up amidst the debris of an airport breakfast. I have been dithering about writing a review for On Her Majesty's Secret S...

I think this one is my favourite of the Bond novels. Espionage, romance, action etc. Bond is still on the hunt for Blofeld and SPECTRE, but instead he finds Tracy and even love and marriage. Bond is at his most human in this novel.
