Overlong and far too infused with fights and battles, this third volume of the First Law trilogy was still engaging and entertaining. It deals also with a great deal of political machinations, twists and turns. Enjoyable enough but still a bit disappointing.
SPOILERS AHEAD, THROUGHOUT I've been contemplating what to say about this book for the last three days. I mean I loved the series as a whole and I loved the characters individually and I know that what Logen's father always said, "You have to be realistic.", is true, but couldn't this fantasy series...

As ever with fantasy trilogies, everything I said true of both the first and the second pretty much holds true for this.
