I got this as a freebie, I think, a few months ago. And while I enjoyed it, I think it could (and should) have been longer. There is no doubt about Josh Lanyon being really talented, it's just the story wasn't one of my favorites from him.

I stayed away from this one for some time, because of the setting (WWI). And I was right, it made me cry.But it was also so very beautiful.A poignant short novel about two pilots - it was simply beautiful.
