I dug this one from Jonathan Maberry. A fast and brutal military thriller / zombie horror romp. Lot's of Rambo-esque kicking ass action and some truly frightening zombies. Joe Ledger is a great character and I look forward to checking out more of this series. 4.5+ Stars. Highly Recommended.

Joe Ledger has some really rough patches in his past. You could say he has some scars on his psyche. He's kind of dealt with those psychic scars by becoming a bit of a badass. Okay, he's become the biggest and best badass there is. Good thing he's on the side of the angels, huh? As Patient Zero ope...

A gripping, fun read. I enjoyed Maberry's Pine Deep trilogy, but this book surpasses that and I look forward to reading Joe Ledger and his team again.

For months I'd had the sequel The Dragon Factory sitting on my shelf but not until I finally went to read it did I ...

I'll tell anyone that will listen that Jonathan Maberry is one of my favourite authors. In the zombie genre he's something of a legend - after all, his multiple series cover just about every genre - Benny Imura is a YA Zombie series, Dead of Night is adult horror lover, and then there's Joe Ledger w...

I don't like zombies, but I like this book!I bought this one a while ago because I was intrigued by the idea of an action/adventure series about a special government agency which handles strange science threats. It's been sitting on my shelf, not because it didn't look interesting. I was just readi...
