Paula Bernstein is the co-author (with Elyse Schein) of "Identical Strangers: A Memoir of Twins Separated and Reunited," which was published by Random House in October 2007.Featured on NPR, CBS Sunday Morning and Good Morning America, "Identical Strangers" won a 2007 Books for a Better Life Award and was selected to participate in the Jewish Book Network.As a freelance writer, Bernstein has written for The New York Times, Redbook, The New York Observer, and other publications. Previously, she was a reporter at Variety and The Hollywood Reporter.She teaches an online course in memoir writing for mediabistro.com and writes the blog Undomesticated Me (www.undomesticatedme.blogspot.com). She lives with her husband and two daughters in Brooklyn.

The title pretty much sums up what it's about: identical twins were separated at birth (or actually 5-6 months after birth) and found out about each other for the first time at 35.
