This was the first Redwall book I ever read. I did what you're not supposed to do and picked it up because it had a cool cover. :) And I became instantly hooked. The characters are so amazing that I went on the read the entire Redwall series.
This is the first Redwall book that I ever read and it remains my absolute favorite. It's also the only one I've ever read twice. The poems and clues were amazing and overall I'm so happy I started with this one because it completely enchanted me and I still love this series.
