After a long career in banking and insurance, Philip Cox took a break from financial services to be a stay at home father for his two children.In the summer of 2010, between changing diapers, Philip started to write 'After the Rain', which was published as a paperback and as an e-book in August 2011. His second novel, 'Dark Eyes of London', was published in April 2012. November that year saw the publication of Philip's third title, 'She's Not Coming Home', set in Boston and New York.'Something To Die For', a thriller which introduced the maverick LAPD Detective Sam Leroy, was published at the end of 2013, and its sequel, 'Wrong Time to Die' followed in 2015. In between these two excursions to Los Angeles, the London-based thriller 'Don't Go out in the Dark' appeared in 2014.Philip returned to New York City for next latest book, 'Should Have Looked Away', and 2017 sees the third in the Sam Leroy series, 'No Place to Die'.Having two young daughters, Philip does not have much spare time, but between writing and school runs has retained an interest in the history of cinema and model railroading.Philip's website www.philipcox.moonfruit.com has more information about the author.
