I got sucked so hard into this series that I ended up reading books two and three in an afternoon. I think that says something on its own. I gave up a whole day to this, rather than the hour or two I like to devote to reading. It's funny, too, because the style of the series really annoys the heck ou...

Anne Bishop created a world beyond our imagination ,the characters are complex, strong and besides of having too many issues to work on they can overcome everything for the well of their queen. Anne's writing show us that women are powerfull with words.

But it also made me laugh, cry and feel for the characters so much that I was getting an upset stomach when the characters were in pain. There aren't many books out there that can make me go through ...

It's prbably the best book by Bishop I have read so far. Of course some characters are just annoying but overall it is an interesing book and we can finally see the true power of Jeanelle.

The elements of this novel stretch beyond the imagination. The romance seeps through you, nothing more than a whisper of sensuality - yet loud enough and real enough to leave one aching for a love like the one Daemon and Jaenelle share. The hope, that Jaenelle - Witch - can heal the taint clotting...

Finally, all the children are grown up. Well, as grown up as they can be. They are a force to be reckon with and yet, they are still held back. Some die which just break my heart. Usually, I'm okay with characters dying or getting hurt, but I feel like I've watched all of these characters grow u...
