A private investigator on Mars gets hired by a beautiful 'transfer' (a human mind in an artificial body) to find her missing husband and gets himself into a whole lot of trouble. Written in the style of an old-fashioned detective story from the 1950s, the story was fun as a one-off but it feels like...
