So let me first start by saying that I really did enjoy this one. The writing was fantastic. It was fun and flowy and moved along at a nice pace. Both characters were likable (for the most part). I loved how the author wrote MATT and his POV. It had a sweet flirty overall mood to it. So why the 3.5 ...

This book gave me a headache. The H was a domineering judgmental jackass who constantly overstepped himself, then got pissy at the h when she accused him of trying to seduce her. The h was a hotheaded shrew. The backstory on her is that her grandma died and she found herself unable to get a jo...

This was gearing up to be the kind of Sandra Marton bickerfest with a stubborn pain in the ass heroine who's always almost getting herself killed. Add in jungle natives and I am so done.

"Kidnapped by a sheik"-y goodness, ruined by the fact that the heroine is a major pain in the butt throughout the entire book. It should have been a "Ransom of Red Chief" type of story, where he eventually pays her father to take her back. Giving it 2 stars because it inexplicably kept me glued to t...

Reviews are divided on this one: some complain about the overbearing sexist hero and some complain about the obnoxious heroine. I decided not to play favorites and hate them both equally. Nicolo spends most of the book winding Caroline up so he can then be angry at her when she falls for it, and she...

Yes, this book was formulaic, a typical Marton, hero kisses heroine forcefully, calls her bad names, can't help thinking of her, saves her, they keep falling into bed, live in a bubble of their own, until real life intervenes. Of course there is a cure for an incurable problem and voila HEA.
