I'm not sure about this one. I liked some bits, didn't get others--like where the romance came into it. Fair enough they had some nice moments but others they were at each others throats. It made me cry a little near the end but other than that I wasn't entirely pulled into the story.

I laughed. I cried a little. I discovered that "Let It Be" by The Beatles breaks my heart. There is this strange, hollow feeling that settled in my chest after I finished the book. I learned to love the characters through their flaws. I related to Harper way more than I thought I would, but I stil...

I have never experienced anything like this at all, so I don't know why I should be such an emotional wreck whilst reading this.I think maybe because it was so easy to understand Harper's tone and character...

DNF @ 20%. July 21, 2014.Didn't like the writing style. A bore. The dialogue was awful. The heroine's kind of annoying. Sorry, it wasn't for me.

Harper Scott’s older sister has always been the perfect one so when June takes her own life a week before her high school graduation, sixteen-year-old Harper is devastated. Everyone’s ...

This story is just … beautiful. Yep, I think that about covers it. From the opening scene, to the very end, Harper captivated me, and swept me along with the pain she tried so hard to keep contained, along with her developments with Jake, along with her amazing friendship with Laney. Admittedly, I w...

What do you do?WHAT DO YOU DO?!?!Well duh, kidnap her urn and take a roadtrip to California with your best friend and some random "douche-baggy hipster music snob with the taste of a forty-year old white guy" of course. The latter, by the way, also needs to fulfill the minimum requirement of being "...

Sometimes people think they want to know things, but then they hear the answer and realize they'd prefer to be in the dark.
