Deliciously Gothic. Suffers somewhat from being the first book in a series, meanders a bit in the middle where the past story is being told and then the series is being setup. Liked the romance, not quite as interested in the mystery. The set-up for the second book, though, was wonderful and I can't wait to see how Featherstone handles the relationship between Lucy and Sussex.
