This story was surprising because the start and the ending are so different. For example the way the chapters are written like chapter 1.first life 2.The dot 3.An opportunity, and far on they are all confusing because the book has different chapters about different things.Another reason that this boo...

This was really enjoyable and a very fast paced reading. I loved that it was a similar road trip to what I did when I was younger with my family so I was really able to relate to that part of the story. There are some great characters throughout and the ending is bound to tear you up a little bit. ...

This book has been an absolute favorite of mine for over ten years! The story of a young girl as she travels with her grandparents to visit her mother may sound less than exciting, but this book will completely draw you in from the very first chapter and you will want to read it again and again once...

I wasn't that taken by this book the first time I read it but rereading it I found myself liking it a lot. It's a great companion book to Love That Dog with even more poems/poetry recommendations in the back.

A short, sweet book about a boy and his dog. I love the poems Creech chose to include in the book as Jack's inspiration.

Reminded me vaguely of a more optimistic Walk Two Moons. Not Creech's best but not a bad read if you're a fan.

I thought this book would be more about food. There's food in it, but it's also about friendship and jealousy and being twelve*. *Though the protagonists seemed older to me. Probably because of all the 'they like each other' implications. The weirdest things about Sharon Creech's novels to me have...

My daughter read this book and loved it so much that she's gone on to read every other Sharon Creech book. I thought I'd give it a look, if only as a conversation piece, and I'm so glad I did. Not only did I love the book, but I'm so glad that such a talented writer has dedicated herself to kids' bo...

As gorgeous as this book was, I felt let down. Sharon Creech is one of my favorite childhood authors and I’ve been wanting to read this book forever, since it came out to be precise. I remember the excitement I felt when I found out Sharon Creech had a new book out. I added it to my Goodreads, to-re...
