I love everything Lunar Chronicles.
Detailed and insightful background snippets on the main cast and a satisfying look forward into their post-Winter future. Nice supplement to the series, with some moments of emotional catharsis and an astonishing peek behind the world-building scenes.
While I liked this collection, it was really unnecessary in pretty much every way. The stories that delved into the characters’ pasts didn’t really add anything, and in a lot of cases we already had the information. The two stories that didn’t dig into the past were really enjoyable. I really liked ...
I kind of felt like Stars Above was okay. I didn’t really enjoy this one except for the short story Something Old, Something New.
