A great start to a series. This book has pretty much everything I look for in an Urban Fantasy. Kick ass heroine, great mythology and world building, murder mystery side plot, sex on legs love interest, and sizzling romance. Check, check, check and double check on the love interest and romance....

Author: Allyson James Rating: ★★★☆☆ I've had this book on audio for quite awhile and just never listened to it. I went through a stage where I only listened to books. Lately I've been in a stage where I only listen while doing something else, like cleaning the house. This book was narrated ...

4/5; 4 stars; A-Stormwalker was a pleasant surprise for me. This is Jennifer Ashley writing as Allyson James. I've enjoyed several of Ashley's books and have been ambivalent about the Shareem stories by James so didn't know what to expect. This book is a fine example of paranormal romance. It mi...

Although I do have to admire the main character for the fact that she at least realizes that she deserv...

I liked this one....not sure why I waited so long to read it. Some of it was easy to figure out early on but there were still a few twists and turns that were surprising.

Hmm. I liked Janet and the plot was engaging (hence the four stars), but I could have done without all the sex bits, especially as I didn't care for Mick at all (and didn't warm to him either). Will probably not read more.

I liked this story and the characters, so much so that it was difficult to put down. Janet is obviously the kick-ass heroine with a tendency to fry anything that she does not like but still has investigating and tactful skills when the situation warrens it. Jane, with her unfortunate mixed Navajo he...
