Wonderful Characters
A Beautiful Forgiveness (the NYC Series Book 3) - Alora Kate,Alora Kate,Silvia Curry

Alora Kate wraps up the NYC series with Lucas' story. I've loved Lucas since the beginning of this series and he's certainly pulled at the heartstrings with his unrequited love for Ki, but nothing comes close to the roller coaster ride that is his life in this third installment of the series. Just as he's determined to move on and get on with his life, he's hit with something that he doesn't know how to handle. London and Lucas have so many obstacles to overcome and more than once, I wasn't sure which way their romance would go. This book is certainly the most emotional of the series, but the author knows her stuff and wraps things up perfectly for this crazy and engaging group of characters. The book, as well as the whole series, is beautifully written and these characters are some that I won't soon forget. This is part of a continuing story and I highly recommend the whole series. More than just romance, we get some suspense, action, a bit of intrigue, and best of all, it's filled with friends and family that pull together and stand by each other, faults and all.

Not your every day romance
A Beautiful Heartbreak (the NYC Series Book 1) - Alora Kate,Alora Kate,Silvia Curry

A Beautiful Heartbreak is not your typical hearts and flowers romance, which was a pleasant surprise for me. The story is well-written and the flow is good. But, the thing that set this one apart is the characters. They are all so interesting - love them or hate them, they're interesting. Most of the story is told from Ki's point of view and I absolutely love her with her quirks and what you see is what you get attitude. We do get some chapters from Prescot's view and I don't want to give too much away, but those chapters are so important to the character development. His flashbacks certainly stir the emotions and pull at your heartstrings. The attraction between this pair is unmistakable, even when they won't admit it and the situations that they find themselves in are, at times, quite funny. While there are questions and some intense situations, I wouldn't necessarily say that it's suspenseful. Things were resolved and questions were answered a bit too quickly for any real build in the suspense level, but that didn't really take away from my enjoyment of the read. Overall, I would say that Alora Kate has given us an outside the box romance with some action, truly great characters, at times laugh out loud dialogue and situations, and a relatively low angst level. I'll be looking forward to whatever is next for this odd mix of people. Oh, and I have to add - Lucas, I seriously want more Lucas!

A Worthy Sendoff to the Beautiful Bastard Series
Beautiful (The Beautiful Series Book 10) - Christina Lauren

The gang’s all together one last time in this fifth full-length–and final–installment of the Beautiful Bastard series. *sob* And Christina Lauren pulled out all the stops for this one. Humor? Check. Heartfelt emotions? Check. Sizzling chemistry and naughty love scenes? Check and double-check!

“You’re beautiful, and only half as irritating as I initially thought.”
A laugh burst out of me. “You think I’m pretty?”
“I think you’re stunning.”
I chewed my lip, watching him.
A slow grin took over his face and he finally asked, “Do you think *I’m* pretty?”
Reaching behind me, I pulled a pillow free and lobbed it at him.

It’s rather hard to say goodbye to this group of characters after having followed their progression since book one, Beautiful Bastard. Each novel has been a journey all on its own, but these characters were all lovingly woven into each other’s lives, with us getting glimpses of them again and again along the way. This particular installment was a true reunion. Yes, we got to watch Jensen and Pippa fall in love (yay!) but couples Will & Hanna and Niall & Ruby were a huge part of the storyline too.

Good Story and Characters
Finding Beautiful: Book One, The Trinity Series (Volume 1) - Amanda Kaitlyn

Aria’s best friend is Farrah. For Aria dancing was like walking. Aria had been endlessly training for the three last weeks. Coach, mentor and dance partner for six years was Eli Jones. Aria had danced every since she could put she could put one foot in front of the other. Dancing had been an outlet all through middle school, HS, and four years at Julliard.Aria had been in the hospital four months ago after Bryce had beat and raped her . Her sister Kel was there for her but her mother hadn’t talked to Aria since her older brother Jeremy had died. Her mother blamed Aria as Jeremy had been with her. Aria was afraid to date again but then she met Gavin and she had never reacted physically to any man like she did Gaven.

I liked this story alot. I think it was a little longer then it had to be but got through that. But i easily read it one setting. But it wasn’t just a romance it had suspense, abuse, obsession, passion, pain, healing, separation, and so much more to make a good story. This had a good plot and I loved the ups and downs in the story as well as the ups and downs Aria and Gavin went through . I recommend.

I received an ARC of this story for an honest review.
