#Bookaday October 2014 Day 8 & 9
The MacGregor Grooms - Nora Roberts
Shadow - Bob Woodward

Working my through my feed updates and saw that I am once again behind the 8 ball with the Bookaday. But I have books for each day's category, so yay!

Day 8: Best Bookshop Find

I checked out Shadow (non-fiction) from my base's library, but it was incredibly long (engrossing, but long) and I was in the midst of taking additional classes and preparing for baby #2 at the time. Luckily, I used Abebooks.com for my OOP and hard to find print books and now own this great piece of modern Presidential history. I hope to finish reading it before Sophia goes to kindergarten :D

Day 9: Best Book about a Bookshop

Nora Roberts writes some incredibly awesome families, and the MacGregor Grooms is the last book in the series. The book is an anthology with 3 stories, each devoted to a grandson. The last book centers on Ian and his lady love, a granddaughter who has recently taken over her childhood book store. She helps him build his library and he wants to get horizontal with her - when they do it is pretty hot.

Getting Caught Up on #Bookaday October Days 5-7
Sweet Valley High #1: Double Love - Francine Pascal
The Secret Life of Bletchley Park: The History of the Wartime Codebreaking Centre by the Men and Women Who Were There - Sinclair McKay

No book for Day 5. Third straight day I don't have a book for the category. Batting 1,000.

Day Six - 1st Book you bought in a book store

Sweet Valley High #1 Double Love

The cover was different back in 1986 but the cheese remains. I bought Secrets (#2) with it.

Day 7 - Last Book you bought in a book store

Non-fiction history book about the code breakers of Bletchley Park. I hope to read this book before seeing the movie.
