Threes a crowd
Braydon - Nicole Edwards

This is book # 6 in the Alluring Indulgence series It can be read as a standalone novel, but reader may enjoy further and understand better by reading in the order intended.

Braydon and Brendon always share their women.  Always.  Only now, Braydon wants Jessie to himself.  How do you tell your twin you have outgrown him and other women?  He is afraid it will distance him from his brother, and it already has.

Braydon wants Jessie, he wants a future with her, and only her.  Up until now there had never been a woman that could come between the twins.  They did not do permanent and the women knew it.  How much will he have to lose before he grabs his future?

Jessie suddenly found herself wanting something she had never thought she would want again.  Lately, though Brendon is a take charge and sexy guy, she found herself wanting to just be held by Braydon and him alone.  What will it take to get that?  Can it even work?

I found this book so honest and real.  Love traingle's happen every day and though this book is just a story that takes that and twists a little, it felt easy to relate to.  I like the family and how solid they are.  I love the new additions that are now a part of it.  This is a great piece of the series.  I give it a 4/5 Kitty's Paws UP!

Braydon - REVIEW
Braydon - Nicole Edwards

4 Stars!

description

Braydon is the sixth book in Nicole Edwards’ Alluring Indulgence series. This series is hot as fuck as we watch each of the Walker men succumb to passion and love. I have truly come to love this series and each time a new book is released and I pick it up, it truly does feel like coming home. I know I will be spending time with characters that I have fallen in love with and I definitely expect greatness each and every time. This is a book about one of the Walker twins we have all come to know and love. Sharing a unique bond with your twin and living your life doing practically everything together is most definitely something special; however, what happens when one twin wants something to himself?

description

Thirty year old Braydon Walker and his twin Brendon have essentially been inseparable since birth. They do everything together and that includes sharing their women, with neither one of them ever having a sexual encounter without the other. The kinky twins have a plethora of women who want to experience a hot twin sandwich between the Walker brothers and Braydon and Brendon are all about no-strings-attached sex. No woman has ever garnered their attention for long. Until now. Not only is Braydon wanting their latest conquest all to himself, he is also no longer wanting to be the brother who takes a back seat and allows the other to run the show. For the first time in his life Braydon finds himself desiring something (or someone) that he wants to keep, that he wants to experience all on his own.

Jessica Prescott (a.k.a. Jess/Jessie) came to Coyote Ridge to escape a crappy love life and to also be near her sister, Kylie. When she meets the Walker twins there is no denying how attracted she is to both the men. The twins waste no time in getting to know Jess and the three of them embark on a mutually satisfying arrangement. For Jess love has caused her nothing but heartache so a playful and fun relationship with Brendon and Braydon where things will not get too serious is just what she needs. The three are essentially “friends with benefits” and this works for them for quite some time. Until it doesn’t. Matters get complicated when feelings beyond friendship start to come into play.

The longer Jess and the twins are together, the more matters become complicated. She is attracted to both brothers and has an easy rapport with them; however, it is Braydon that makes her heart flutter. It is Braydon that is starring in her secret fantasies. The deep feelings she has for Braydon are definitely reciprocated. Braydon finds himself falling for the sassy brunette and he does not know what to do about it. Upsetting the status quo he has always had with his brother is harder that he imagined especially since Brendon is acting like a first class ass-hat and not making things easy for him. He just knows that he can no longer continue what they are doing with Jess. With his feelings involved there is no way he can stand sharing her any longer. What ensues is a lot of miscommunication (or no communication at all) and mistakes are made by all three. Braydon’s desire for independence has Brendon reeling, feeling insecure and acting out in such a way that he is damaging his relationship with his brother and Jess. Can the twins handle a new dynamic where they each pursue their own relationships? Can Jess and Braydon find their way to a happy forever when they can’t even bare their souls to one another?

“I want to be with you, Braydon. I want to be with you today, tomorrow, the day after that, the year after that, and so on and so forth. I don’t want to be broken.”

*****

“Kissing her was better than breathing, better than sunshine after a weeklong rainstorm. Yes. Yes, he had gone there. This woman made him wax poetic about fucking rainstorms and he didn't even care.”

*****

“If it were up to me, I’d strip you right here and slide my cock deep inside you. I’d remind you of what you’ve been missing. What we’ve both been missing. Once I’m inside you again, I’m not going to stop. I’m gonna fuck you until you’re screaming my name. MY NAME, Jess. Do you understand me?”

Braydon and Jess certainly have a few obstacles to overcome. Braydon has to overcome his guilt when it comes to his brother. He realizes that deep down he wants nothing more than to be with Jess and show her the man he truly is, a man that likes to exert control in the bedroom. He wants Jessie and is determined to show her just how great they can be together. Braydon may have run in the beginning to avoid hurting his sibling and over-complicating matters; however, he is done with that and proceeds to pursue Jess with a steely determination. Jess is a little reluctant as she has a past of failing in the love department and she does not want to cause any issues between the Walker brothers; however, there is no denying how deep her feelings go for Braydon. There is also no turning away a hot and possessive Walker man on a mission to win her.

Braydon and Jess’ story was a sweet one. However, it did come with some frustrations. One of those frustrations was Brendon. There were moments that I wanted to punch that guy right in the junk! Holy hell! I did have some sympathy for him as the intricate bond with his brother and best friend was changing and he really did not know how to deal with it. Braydon was the first out of the two of them to fall in love and to want to walk a different path outside of the one they had been walking for so long. It was all very conflicting and emotionally challenging for all of them seeing as Jess had been a part of their threesome for a while. It was definitely a tough journey for Braydon when it came to establishing a new dynamic with his brother and pursuing the woman of his dreams.

All in all, Braydon was a wonderful installment to this series I can’t seem to get enough of. I do recommend reading this series in sequential order as each story more or less flows into one another despite the fact that each book highlights a different Walker brother. I love how Ms. Edwards revisits all of the characters in each book and we get to see how their lives are progressing. This is one of the key elements that makes this series so wonderfully addicting. I truly enjoyed seeing Braydon and Jess find their way. It was heart-warming, frustrating, sexy and passionate. All that it should be when we are in the throes of fervent love.
