The Many Faces of Doctor Strange
Marvel Platinum: The Definitive Doctor Strange - Gene Colan,Roy Thomas,Brian K. Vaughan,Frank Brunner,Stan Lee,Steve Ditko,Marv Wolfman,Roger Stern,Marcos Martin,Marshall Rogers,Neil Vokes,Len Kaminski,Steve Engelhart,Geoff Isherwood,Roger Stern

This covers Doctor Strange from his inception to much more recent adventures with a variety of art styles and enemies.

Interesting collection, Lots of potential that hte film really did do well with.

It falls into (in my opinion)  Doomsday; Spellbound, Gothic, Ghost Stories, Genre: Horror; Supernatural; and Relics.  However I've used all those, I'm putting it into the Raven Square.

I am not okay
Saga Volume 9 - Fiona Staples,Brian K. Vaughan

I am grieving. Comics shouldn't make you grieve.

And I can't even find out what's going to happen because Saga is on hiatus!

Review of We Stand on Guard by Brian K. Vaughan
We Stand On Guard - Brian K. Vaughan,Steve Skroce,Matt Hollingsworth

I read this book as a part of the summer reading program at my high school.  I enjoyed the premise of the book that in the future, the United States invades Canada for its fresh water supply.  The story centers around one particular woman who joins with a group of rebels.  There is a great deal of graphic violence that I didn't think was really necessary, and I thought it moved too quickly to really build interest in most of the characters.  A missed opportunity in my opinion.

Another slower issue
Saga #52 - Brian Vaughan,Fiona Staples

I know a lot of the fandom wants this to just get on with it and find a strong direction, but this feels like real life: sometimes it's just trying to get by, to me.   But it's really fun real life set in another universe and I'm the weirdo who's loving this even as it kind of strings us along.

But I'm okay with being that weirdo because I'm still loving this series, so there's that.
