Save me from myself? No, save me from mediocre books...
Save Me From Myself - Cassie Stevens

Having read several other books by this author I just expected a better story.

The premise was good, the execution not so much. And that's all I have to say on this topic, if I go on much more the review will become longer than the book.

End of story, moving on now.

Save Me From Myself - Cassie Stevens 2.5 stars. What, save you from from the issue you have with grabbing yourself? (Sorry, I really hate this cover.) Ok kinky m/m romance about a dominant who hates the former Marine (now successful clothing designer) who came home alive from Iraq, when the dom's lover did not. Of course, the clothing designer knows all about the dom from the dead boyfriend and is convinced that the dom is exactly what he needs.

Best Laid Plans - Cassie Stevens Years ago, Seth decided to leave Jason because he wasn't brave enough to admit who he was. Seth was an NFL player and there was no place for a gay athlete, right? But now, a purchase of a house where Jason and him doing their trysts as teenagers, brings Jason right back into Seth's life. It's a nice read. I cannot really elaborate more because as much as it's a theme that I usually love, the two men don't engage me that well. Like I can feel a distance between me and them. There are some fine moments but most are just so-so for me. Plus, the turn around in Seth after him being adamant to reject Jason was just too fast, though I'm sure that it's because this is a novella and one cannot drag on a plot.

Model Behavior - Cassie Stevens The story feels short and have no "meat" in it. There is a lot missing, my connection to the story and character for one. Everything just feels rushed.
