„Der Anti-Aging-Code für Ihren Hund“ von Rodney Habib und Dr. Karen Shaw Becker ist für mich ein echter Zufallsfund und wie ich finde auch ein wirklicher Glücksgriff! Gesucht habe ich nämlich nicht nach einem derartigen Buch, bin nun aber froh, es zu haben und immer wieder darin nachblättern zu können. Für mich war es in manchen Punkten ziemlich aufschlussreich und interessant! 

Es handelt sich bei dem Buch um ein mit 577 Seiten ziemlich umfangreiches und detailliertes Sachbuch zum Thema Hundegesundheit und -Ernährung. Inhaltlich reicht das Buch von Aufschlüsselung der industriellen Futterherstellung über allgemeine Fütterungsthemen (wie z.B. Supplementen und anderen ernährungsphysiologischen Komponenten) über vermeintliche Stressfaktoren, physiologische Alterungsprozesse bis hin zu Rezeptvorschlägen. Eigentlich wird alles, was Einfluss auf die Gesundheit unserer Vierbeiner nehmen kann unter die Lupe genommen. Neben ausführlichen Textblöcken finden sich dabei immer wieder zahlreiche grafische Darstellungen, die das Beschriebene entweder noch einmal zusammenfassend oder auch bildhaft darstellen. Insgesamt ist das Buch recht gut und flüssig lesbar, also sehr verständlich geschrieben - auch wenn auf den Leser zunächst so manche unbekannte Begrifflichkeit wartet, was jedoch immer recht schlüssig erklärt wird!

Alles in allem ein tolles Nachschlagewerk, das man immer wieder mal zur Hand nehmen kann. Ich würde es definitiv weiterempfehlen, deshalb volle 5 Sterne.

This is book # 7 in the Jameson Force Security series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. To enjoy the series, and to avoid any spoilers, I recommend reading this sexy series in order.

Jackson thinks he will be basically babysitting a spoiled brat when he gets the assignment to watch over Princess Camille. She turns out to be a pleasant surprise. What he does not expect is to be so hot and heavy over her he is willing to do anything she asks.

Princess Camille is not happy with being left in the dark with whatever the latest threat on her family must be. She is preparing as best she can to take over her father's duties when he is ready. Now she has the sparks between her and Jackson to contend with.

This is a very good story from the characters, the heat, the pacing, and so much more. Lots of familiar characters for fans of the series to be happy as well as plenty of surprises to keep you wanting to turn that page also. I did not want to put it down!

This is fast paced and really kept my attention. I liked all the codes and clues and deep meanings. I'm not any type of art historian so idk the truth to most of that, but it was cool to me. Also, I don't get hung up on the religion stuff. As far as I'm concerned, it could be anyone's guess about Jesus. The biggest draw back to this story IMO is how they always found clues or details but never revealed them right away. I know that was supposed to keep the reader drawn into the mystery more, but sometimes I just wanted them to spit it out.

Felicity comes to Maine to live with her father's family while her parents go back to Europe during WWII. She waits for letters from them which never come. She wonders what is going on. There are a lot of secrets in her father's family home and she slowly discovers what they are.

I loved this book. I had a hard time putting it down. It is so well written and Felicity is a wonderful character--curious, child-like but growing up, lively, bringing others out of their shells. She gets Captain Derek out of his room. I liked Derek. The secondary characters were different and were hard to know through most of the story until Felicity dug out their secrets. I hope I can find other stories in this series to see what happens at WWII comes to the United States.
