Erster Satz | David Whitaker: Doctor Who and the Daleks
Doctor Who And The Daleks - David Whitaker

I stopped the car at last and let the fog close in around me.

I knew I was somewhere on Barnes Common and I had a suspicious idea it was the most deserted part as well. A warm fire and the supper my landlady would have waiting for me seemed as far away as New Zealand. I wondered how long it would take me to walk home to Paddington and the possible answer didn't do anything to cheer me up.

A fitting end to an impossible day, I thought savagely.

Doctor Who: The Evil of the Daleks (Target Doctor Who Library)
Doctor Who: The Evil of the Daleks (Target Doctor Who Library) - John Peel What means having the human factor? What does it mean to have the Dalek factor? This tale takes back to the nineteen century where the daleks are trying to figure what makes humans... human. As they test on Jamie the Doctor uses three daleks as subject as per accord of the other daleks. As they are transported to the Dalek homeworld the Doctor meets the Dalek Emperor where he says that the daleks are doomed since some of them are now "human". The emperor reveals that all of that research was to have a dalek factor and put the doctor working for them as he would travel through time and infect the dalek factor in all human race.

Of course nothing of this happens since now some of the daleks are human they have free will and start question the emperor orders and it result in full civil war.

Quite a critic on humankind Mr directors of Doctor Who.

One of the best Dr Who novels, scripts. It's unfortunate that only 1 episode of 7 survives...

This is also the first episode with Victoria. What a charming beautiful girl. It will be a pleasure seeing her in the adventures with Jamie and the Doctor.

Doctor Who-Power of the Daleks: Script (Doctor Who: The Scripts)
Doctor Who-Power of the Daleks: Script (... Doctor Who-Power of the Daleks: Script (Doctor Who: The Scripts) - Terry Nation The power of the daleks as a simple story about human arrogance. Humans think that they are smart than everything. But the Daleks prove them wrong.

This is the first tale with the second doctor and it was a bit odd because the process of regenaration is not mention and the second doctor treated the first one as a third person.

Maybe at the time of this tv series they didn't knew how to cope with it end of one doctor and the second?

This Doctor is quite different. Always playing his flute but at the same time more in the center of the action.

A rebellion, the daleks being brought to life to be the humans slaves. Good but at the same time simple, too simple and didn't dwell much on the Doctor. But it was a good effort. Advisable to anyone who doesn't want to see the Reconstructions made for this episode but don't expect enlightnaments on the new doctor.
