Not sure I want to read this....
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child - Parts I & II (Special Rehearsal Edition) - J.K. Rowling,John Kerr Tiffany,Jack Thorne

Just bought this up at Asda's when i went to pick up a few things.  Hadn't planned to buy it any time soon really but they had it for a fiver less than Waterstones so it fell into my trolly.

Not sure I want to read it though.  I'm not sure how I'll get on with the format and I've heard mixed responses about it from people I know IRL.  I've been avoiding any posts here about it though in case of spoilers. so I've no clue what it's about really and I'd maybe just be better leaving it where things ended with Deathly Hallows.

I'd have got it at some point so that my book collection is complete, just not sure I'll be reading it.

You know...even as I typed that last line I'm thinking, "Yeah right!  You know you'll read it!  Who are you trying to kid?!  It's Harry Potter!!"

My daughter pounced on it though so perhaps I'll just wait and get the edited highlights from her.  She's a big fan but will tell it like it is and pull no punches.

Reading progress update: I've read 38%.
Flowertown - S.G. Redling

It's a good story and it's holding my attention, but Jeeze, get to the point already!  Everything is soooo drawn out.

Reign of Blood - Alexia Purdy

I don't get it...She's on her own and looking for her family in a city of blood thirsty vampires (Vegas) and yet she drives her van to a car park and then walks to all the casinos to check them out.  Why not take the van?

Also, casino's are pretty large?  Like the Luxor?  It has the potential to be riddled with vampire nests (or hives or whatever they're called) around every corner and it takes her about 10 mins to check the whole place (in the dark with a flashlight) and decide that they're not there and she moves on to the next casino?  I'm not buying it.

I really want this to be a good one but she's already starting to bug me.  Why would she leave her locked down bunker in the dead of night to check out a vampire(y) figure wandering around outside that she sees on the close circuit tv?  Makes no sense.  It can't get in and doesn't know she's there anyway so why go out in the dark?

Bookbub kindle freebie
Reign of Blood - Alexia Purdy

Just snagged this from today's Bookbub kindle freebie email so I'll give it a go.  It seems to get rave reviews so I'm hoping I'm in for a great read.  I'm a bit worried because 9 times out of 10 I end up hating the stories everyone else loves...
