Just finished Cole Gibsen's "Once Bitten" - honestly, it wasn't that good. Probably the first dud of this respective collection for me. Avery and Tanner are former romantic interests who unite to find a missing kid, and it feels like their search is deprioritized against their reunion drama. Not just cheesy pick up lines and cliched elements, but risky situations and unrealistic consequences. 1 or 1.5 stars.
Moving on.
Look you guys, you're looking for a missing kid. No one has time for this lovey-dovey B.S. Focus on the task at hand. Avery, don't let the dog do all the work. Tanner, stop calling the heroine by her pet name ("Cricket" - because these NA stories always have odd pet names for the heroine), and apologize for all your wrongdoings later. This is not a good time.
Priorities man, priorities. *sighs*
