This one was short so I'm going to keep the review short as well...
Finding Love: The Perfect Size for You - Lily G. Blunt, Sean Crisden

"Finding Love: The Perfect Size for You" was unfortunately not the perfect story for me in spite of the fact that it was narrated by Sean Crisden, one of my favorite narrators. Overall this story just wasn't working for me.

Sorry but in a nutshell we've got a naive young college boy hiring a rent boy to teach him about sex so he'll know what to do when...read if his secret crush ever gives him the timeee of day and before I know it, it's the naive young college boy who's getting all pushy and toppy with the rent boy.

I'm not even saying that this couldn't possibly happen but with only 1 hour and 8 minutes to convince me...well, I just wasn't convinced. Maybe if the story was a bit longer and might I say apparently the only thing that needed to be longer was the story everything else was "the perfect size".

This was my first time listening to a story by this author and while it didn't goes as I'd hoped there are other stories and who knows how they'll turn out.

Finding Perfect
Finding Perfect - Elly Swartz

Molly feels that she is going crazy, she just can’t seem to quit counting. She hasn’t always been this way, a few weeks ago, it was the germs that resided on her hands that needed the frequent washing and then there were her glass figurines what sat precisely on her dresser, just so many inches apart from one another, a ruler helped her keep track. Molly had other obsessions that she did throughout the day, things that had to be done, things that kept her world perfect and orderly. But now, the counting was added to these obsessions and it consumed her, the counting by fours ….48, 52, 56, 60. The final round of the slam competition was coming and Molly was not prepared. Molly needed to win this competition for it would bring her mother home from Canada, she just knew it would, and their family would be complete again. Molly wanted to tell someone about her secret but the opportunity never occurred. Molly is tired of living with her obsessions, they are starting to take over her life yet Molly keeps giving of herself.

I thought this novel was excellent, I thought there were many wonderful topics in this novel: s distant mother, OCD, friendships and siblings. I loved the character of Molly as she tries to deal with her OCD. Confused as her actions start to take control of her life, she doesn’t know where to turn to and she begins to think that she is actually going crazy. I like that the author adds this confusion to the text. I liked that Molly tries to reach out to individuals in her life and that she tries social media for help too. I believe in reality, many children would behave like Molly and reading this novel, they could relate to her. I found Molly’s relationships with Hannah and Bridgette, her closest friends interesting in this novel. Bridgette has her own strange obsession and the more that I thought about her obsession, the more I could relate to it. Perhaps for children at this age, it is strange but for Bridgette’s situation it’s not and I liked what Molly did, once she found the reasoning behind it. Regarding Hannah’s relationship with Molly, I wished it would have been more even throughout the novel, I think I would have liked Hannah more. What a great novel to read and to share with others. I highly recommend it.

Captivating and Fun
Finding Love: The Perfect Size for You - Lily G Blunt

I do love a story where the characters surprise me and not live up to the stereotype they initially appear to be.

Both the blurb and the start of Finding Love had me convinced I was dealing with a cocky porn star who knows it all and a shy, inexperienced and maybe even submissive student. And both Ty and Andy live up to their stereotype nicely…or do they? Is Ty really as sure of himself and what he wants as he thinks he is? And could Andy possibly have quite a bit of backbone behind his coyness?

I had so much fun with this story. Getting to know Ty and Andy was as exciting as Andy’s enticing introduction to the world of intimacy and sex was. This story is told from Ty’s perspective which, in this case, is exactly right. Watching Ty as he slowly has to admit to himself that Andy is becoming more than a client and, later, more than ‘just’ a friend was as fascinating as getting to know the real Andy was.

This is a short story and yet it is not a case of insta-love. We follow Ty and Andy’s journey from the first time they make what is purely a commercial arrangement to the point where they can no longer pretend to be anything else than boyfriends. And their journey is intriguing and beautiful.

Thank you Lily for yet another well written story and captivating read. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Then the ranch owner who helped her rebuild her life threw her a curve ball. Now she’s the new girl in Renlend, Kansas on the Montgomery’s ranch, and their son Easton is a constant source of frustration and distraction. Getting her hands around the veterinarian’s neck and squeezing, looks better by the day.

Easton’s Everything – excerpt # 1

Easton closed in on her, effectively trapping her between the truck and the open door. He’d meant to intimidate her into speaking, instead he was encircled by the scents of her shampoo and soap, both floral and light. Very feminine, despite the hard work of being a farm hand. Her eyes dilated rapidly before she glanced toward the dessert and away from him.

“Can you please back the hell up?”

“I want to know what you’re not telling me.”

“If you’re so damned concerned, why don’t you ask your father? Better yet, go ask your mother. It’s not my place to say a fucking word, Easton Montgomery. Now stop putting me in the middle, get the hell out of my personal space and quit acting like some macho tough ass who thinks I’m some little lady he can boss around. Never gonna happen.”

“What’s never gonna happen?” He tipped his head. She sucked in a quick rush of air, loud enough for him to read her mind. English was his first language obviously. Sign language, though he was learning, he was far from fluent. But body language—he was a self-professed expert. She hadn’t meant for the last three words to slip from her mouth.

Easton leaned in, “For the record, you’re as gorgeous as you think you are.” She attempted to spin away, but the confined space kept her facing him.

“Unlike you…I don’t think I’m gorgeous, Mr. God’s Gift to Women.”

“Are you saying, you think I’m an egotistical, arrogant ass with a black book for late night booty calls?”

Jessica grinned, her mouth tipped up in a pursed, cute little bow, her hands went to her shapely hips. “I didn’t say it. You did.”

“What are you, ten?”

“I thought I’d better dumb down my vocabulary and sentiments for you to comprehend.”

Easton folded his arms across his chest before he laid them on her. For the first time he found himself surrounded by people and not caring he had an audience. He wanted nothing more than to shut her contrite pink lips up by hauling her up against him and taking control of the situation before she got too out of hand.

“What’s Mom doing?” He tried to pull his thoughts away from the erotic pictures building in his head.

“She’s sitting at the kitchen table writing recipes down for me. Ones she says are in her head. There, are you satisfied, yet?”

The little head jerk she gave to accentuate her point nearly did him in. Easton smirked, holding onto every fiber of not only his temper, but his desire. “Not nearly, darling.”

“I’m not your darling. I’m not your honey, sweetheart, doll face—your nothing. Not now, not ever. I’m here for your mom, your dad and more importantly, Roscoe. If it wasn’t for the fact that in a very short time, I’ve grown to really like your parents and I need a place for my horse—you’d be eating gravel about now.”

Her skin was tinged with the most beautiful shade of pink. Her blue eyes had darkened and her pulse had spiked. Easton knew she was bluffing with every bold-faced lie she spoke. He lifted his chin, daring her to continue. She opened her mouth, he lifted his brow…waiting. She narrowed her eyes at him and clamped her mouth shut.

Perfect Cute & Fluffy
Finding Perfect - Kendra C. Highley

Finding Perfect is the perfect cute & fluffy.
It's an easy read, with lots of feels and loads and loads of cutness.

I kept smiling and grinning through this one. Felt thoroughly entertained and all fuzzy at the end.

This is well written, then I have come to expect nothing else from Crush novels
.
The cast is really great. The different parents were interesting as well. Highley managed to write them all with little judgment and more importantly showing each friends issues, insecurities and strengths due to their situation. Except I found Paiges mother too over the top. And the issues with her, extreme, but I would have been fine if the resolve would have given us some more insight why she acted that way? It was all over sudden all over.. and done. Everybody is happy the end.
I loved Ben and Paige. The book is told from both POV. And not only could I relate, I was totally engaged in their slow burn romance. I was desperate for them to finally get there.... They are too cute for words and Highley simply written their chemistry to perfection. Super cute!
The story line is a new take on a good oldy. Highley did a great job making it her own. I was totally captured by it. Each little turn and twist had me grinning and gasping. In short Highley had me wrapped around her little finger and I cant wait to read more from her... and more importantly I can't wait to get my hand on Zoe's story

A super cute novel! Must read for lovers of the genre!! Cute & fluffy fix garantied!
