Can there be a bigger second chance story than this one? Every one makes their life's decisions due to unrelenting circumstance of then by choice. This story is exactly about these choices; Ben chose his life, Grace had no choice. But now they are looking to a new future with new dreams. Unfortunately, their past choice keep getting in the way and also prevent them from finding true love and peace in each other's arms.

This is one of the great things about Gina Gordon's stories. No matter how raunchy or scandalous her characters may be, for them there is always a ray of light at the end of the tunnel. A hope that never lets you give up. They have to work hard for it, struggle and fight for it, but HEAs are always guaranteed. Yay for happy endings.

Grace did what she needed to in order to put food on her table and help her parents. Now she is trying to live a 'normal' life, putting her past behind her. Ben has been given a promotion and he is finding it hard being the VP for the White Lace, preferring to be behind the cameras. Together, they learn to love, to trust, to accept their pasts so that they can be happy. I loved Grace's determination to move beyond her past, to hold her head up when the past came calling. I even enjoyed her willingness to accept her need for a man. Ben looked out for himself except when it came to Grace. He leaned on her until he found the confidence in himself that she knew was there. I recommend this book.

Grace was changing her life. She had been an escort named Jade to support herself and pay for college but also to get her parents out of financial difficulty. Then once her parents found out what she had been doing to make the money they kicked her out of the house. They only communicated once in awhile to let each other know they were still alive. Ben was in the porn industry . he loved being a director but recently his best friend Max had left the industry to follow his dream of owning and running a hotel. So Ben had been promoted to VP of the company and felt totally overwhelmed but was doing the best he could, Ben had a deep seeded attraction to Grace. They had been together one time but Ben had determined since becoming VP no sex until he got a handle on being the BP of the company and all it entailed. But Max was moving in with Grace’s best friend Everly and they surprisingly found out they were both supposed to help them.

I love this story and had a problem putting it down. It was just a very enjoyable unconventional romance. It was well written, sometimes i laughed and sometimes I choked up with emotion. I loved the twists and turns of the story especially between Grace and Ben. I highly recommend.

This was hard to put down. This is the story of two people who have been hurt in the past and need to learn to move beyond that hurt and learn to trust. Violet lost her fiance in an accident that caused her great injury. Noah fell in love with the wrong woman who stomped on his heart. Fate brought these two souls together. Violet tries to be the woman she wants to be, not the one she is expected to be. Her strength is just below the surface, and once the layers peel back, it comes through. Noah grabs the opportunity presented to him in Violet and enjoys her company until things start coming to light. He is a good man and hears the truth through his pain. I highly recommend this book and I look forward to more of this series.

Great new series in the making. Love the characters especially Harper ( I am so looking forward to her story) Violet's life has been defined by her beauty and when she no longer has that, she seems to lose her self identity. Coupled with tragedy and her family's expectations of her makes her even more of a recluse. Noah is right there watching and waiting, giving her what she needs from him, patiently for her to open up even though he can see how blatantly her demons hold her back. But it is amazing how if we allow someone to see our true selves, allow ourselves to accept the reality of who and what we are and allow ourselves to be accepted by others, life and love can be ours for the taking. Being the weird one in my own life I can relate but I learnt that trying not to conform to society's standards of normal and self acceptance is the only way to be truly at peace, which is what Violet eventually learns about herself thanks to the people who love her.
