My rating is only for Kat Richardson’s “The Third Death of the Little Clay Dog".
At first I was a bit leery, because that title sounds ridicules. I was pleasantly surprised and found myself enjoying this way more than my first impression would have instilled.
Harper was nice in this one and I liked the ending. Besides that its a SS so not much meat on it, but I liked it.
This was as great as I remembered it.
So glad that Will is finally gone, though the circumstance was a bit cruel.
The plot was rather exhilarating in part because of Harper getting to spend so much time with Quinton and because it's the 2nd time I've read this so I already knew about the kisses and more between them. I really hope that they'll stick til the end.
The monster was great and I hope to see more of those.
I wonder what Carlos wanted Cameron to shut it about and what else is out there.
I upped the rating by 0,5 this time around. It has been some time since I last read it and though it still bothered me at some points, it also kept me curious about the Grey, the plot and the characters. I really like Carlos, although that may change in the later books, but for now I like the badness factor he throws around him. I hope he and Harper will become friends down the road. Quinton was awesome. One of my favorites so far.
I was not charmed at all by Brian and found the scenes with him annoying. I liked Mara a bit better, but Ben, well he gives me a mental image of a confused white haired pot bellied professor well due his prime. Ofc that may also change with him hopefully gaining more facts and less theory. Oh and Will - I'll happily pave the way for Carlos to eat him. I hope he gets lost soon.
It has been a while since I last read this book, but since the series has been completed in the meantime I figured I might as well reread those I've read before starting on those I haven't.
The rating haven't changed for me, it's still a solid 4 star book for me.
Though what bothered me the last time are the same things. I liked Quinton just fine, but I'm not really keen on Mara and Ben yet, but that may change in the following books.
I think Harper may grow on me, perhaps the Grey as well. I didn't like Will and that silly "no I'm Will, you Harper" thing. I'm glad he's gone. I like Quinton better - A lot and he is smart.
