"Inner City Blues" by Chicki Brown

My Thoughts....

This last [6] book of this series "Inner City Blues" of the Stafford's was indeed another good read featuring Dr. Jesse Stafford [a twin] and his wife Cydney [Cyd]. It was simply a wonderful well written story that really brings out what all is going on in this family. Between Jessie being a busy oncologist and his wife being a stay at home home...this family keep plenty busy. What will happen when Jesse is arrested and things started happening due to him aiding a family member of his wife? The story really picks up that will involve his wife too. Now, I don't want to spoil it other than saying you will have to get this novel in order to know what all is going on with Jessie and Cydney. I liked how this author brought in the 'current news headlines' of just what has gone on in this city of Atlanta. I thought that was beautifully done! This Stafford family [all of the characters]...from mom, dad, the six brothers and their wife's along with all of their children will give the reader one excellent storyline that will keep your attention to the very end. I will not only recommend this novel but all six of the series to learn about each of these Stafford brothers [Jesse, Nick, Marcus. Vic, Greg & Charles] and a lot more of this interesting family!

"I'm Losing You" by Chicki Brown

My Thoughts....

This was a good well written story dealing with another Stafford brother ...Vic.

The story was about two people... I loved how this author was able to give us a good story dealing with what all a marriage may take to work. Will Vic and Mona Stafford be able to work it all out in the end?

I found all of the characters were all off the chart...all well developed, defined and portrayed & believable.

In the end...

We get another beautiful family series....Book Four in the Stafford Brothers that I would definitely recommend and will be looking forward to this author's next series...'I Want You Back.'

In Plain Sight by H.L. Stafford

Could something as simple as a genetic marker explain the myths and tales of ancient heroes? This is a question that Abbey O’Rourke must face as she uncovers the secrets of her family’s lineage and their telepathic abilities in H.L. Stafford’s new book, “In Plain Sight”.

Abbey, a young nurse in Chicago, finds herself at the center of a prophecy thousands of years old when she meets Michael in the middle of a snow storm. The two share a profound connection which sets her on a journey of recognizing her own amazing abilities, the incredible new world they open her up to and the dangers that come along with such power. Action-packed, suspenseful and romantic, “In Plain Sight” is the perfect winter read.

"Till You Come Back To Me" by Chicki Brown...

What was this novel about?

"Atlanta plastic surgeon Charles Stafford is giving up his successful practice to volunteer his services in Nigeria with a medical organization. Even though he’s excited about this major career move, he has no idea how much his life is about to change.

Nurse Adanna Okoro is one of the six medical professionals working at a small village hospital thirty minutes outside of Lagos, Nigeria. She loves her job and is devoted to the people she serves. When the hospital is notified that it has been chosen to host a team of foreign doctors, Adanna meets the man she has always dreamed of."

What I like about this novel...

This novel was a sweet romance featuring Charles Stafford and Nurse Adanna Okoro. This was the second one of the Stafford brothers and I did found the read definitely somewhat different from the first series. It was interesting in seeing some of the family drama that did go on in  each of the families of Charles and Adanna and seeing how they go through it all  is really amazing by the end of the story.  Charles is finding is professional fulfillment after he starts working in Africa and meeting Adanna who was a nurse .  This author really presents us a well written story of bringing these two together and I will stop here and say you must pick up the good read to see for yourself how it all comes out.

What I also loved about this read.....

The author really presented  to the reader some excellent knowledge of the Nigerian culture and their politics.  I loved the interest  taken with baby Chichi.  This Doctors Without Borders was quite interesting group of Doctors.

Overall impression....

"Till You Come Back To Me" was a very easy nice pace read  that was very understandable, along with it being entertaining that will keep your attention.  It  was a good follow up from the first series  featuring a  Stafford brother Marc... with this series being of Charles.  That only leaves me to say  I will be waiting  for the next series featuring Greg Stafford in 'Don't Stop Till You Get Enough.'
