Love & Gelato - Jenna Evans Welch
Love & Gelato - Jenna Evans Welch

What a sweet read!!!! I'm not just saying that because I love all things Italian, including my hubby, but this story really gave me the feels! Lina and Ren are one of my favorite couples and the road to them coming to be is one that I loved taking. A book lover friend of mine asked me about this book, but noticed the length and was a little put off. I can tell you that even though it's 400 pages, the pages go so fast you don't notice how long it is. The story doesn't feel long enough once you close the last page. Oh, how I want to see what happens now that Lina knows who she is, what she is doing with her life, and dating Ren. I just can't get enough! Plus she has this relationship with Howard that I know will grow and be wonderful. These are things we want to witness as readers, you just get so invested. If you like a feel-good romance, with a touch of drama, then you need this book in your life. It's definitely going on my faves list!

Wild West Christmas, Jenna Kernan
By Jenna Kernan Wild West Christmas: A Family for the RancherDance with a CowboyChristmas in Smoke River (Harlequi [Mass Market Paperback] - Jenna Kernan

I enjoyed these three stories and I voluntarily chose to review these. I've given this set a 4.5* rating. There is just a little too much sexual content for the under 18 readers. However there was little jewels of content in each story to lighten the stories a bit. All three were good Western Romances.

Fool's Errand (Beat Street #2)
Fool's Errand - Jenna Zark

Twelve year old Ruby Tabeata is ready to have a fun summer. However, she finds out that her best friend Sophie is forced into hiding with her mother after her mother attended a Communist meeting.  The House Un-American Activities Committee would like to serve Sophie's mom in order to have her turn in other people who have  attended meetings as well.  Ruby wants to help Sophie and her mother after her mother loses her job and goes on the run, but after last year's run-in with a social worker, Ruby's mom has set some rules for her.  Ruby decides to chase Sophie all the way to Illinois along with her brother's girlfriend JoJo.  Although, her intentions may end up hurting more than helping.

An exciting and dangerous middle grade adventure in the 1950's. Fool's Errand picks up soon after book 1, The Beat of Ruby's Street leaves off and I would highly encourage reading that first in order to get to Ruby. Through Ruby, I learned a little more about America's hidden history of the House Un-American Activities Committee and the Hollywood Blacklist that Sophie's mom was placed on. Ruby's adventure was also a coming-of-age journey for her where she expanded out of the Beat society and learned that her actions had consequences.  Ruby also learned more of the rules of society that she didn't always experience as a Beat and gained maturity as she learned to trust others and that not everything will go the way you think.

This book was received for free in return for an honest review.

Audiobook Review: Coming Apart at The Seams (Riley O'Brien & Co. 2) by Jenna Sutton (Author), Ava Lucas (Narrator)
Coming Apart at The Seams - Jenna Sutton

Coming Apart at the Seams is beauty personified. Not because of the way it ends, but the detours it hits along the way. Nick and Teagan are not the definition of perfect. Beneath their glamourous lives and their burgeoning romance are some painful scabs, just waiting to be exposed. However, it's the imperfections that make them a perfect fit for each other. Lucas' voice carries a vulnerability that makes it easy to love these people, even in the most of unlovable moments. Sutton has written a sonnet that turns a beautiful tragedy into a happily ever after.

Audiobook/ E-book Review: All the Right Places (Riley O'Brien & Co. #1) by Jenna Sutton (Author), Ava Lucas (Narrator)

All the Right Places (Riley O'Brien & Co. #1)All the Right Places by Jenna Sutton

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Audiobook/ E-book Review: All the Right Places (Riley O'Brien & Co. #1)
by Jenna Sutton (Author), Ava Lucas (Narrator)

Family and business take a back seat while love gets behind the wheel. All the Right Moves is more spicy than sweet, but then Jenna Sutton is not known for subtlety. Quinn and Amelia idle at hot. Quinn knows who's in charge and drags Amelia along for the ride. Sutton knows her alphas and Quinn fits the bill. I've had an opportunity to read this book in the past under my own steam, but Lucas' narration adds an element of charming temptation in her delivery of naughty and nice.
