Book Review For: Never Kiss a Highlander by Michele Sinclair
Never Kiss a Highlander (The McTiernays) - Michele Sinclair

'Never Kiss a Highlander' by Michele Sinclair is Book Six in "The McTiernays". This is the story of Hamish MacBrieve and Mairead MacMathain. I have read the other books in this series but feel you can make this a standalone book if you choose.
Hamish has been working with the Elite McTiernay guardsman after leaving his brother who is the laird of Foinaven Castle to start out on his. Hamish was hurt that the women he thought he loved married his brother. Now he has returned to help his brother and to be done with his family. Hamish plans are to get his brother settled and to never return. But when Hamish thought to find hurt from and old love he finds Mairead who is his brother sister in-law and his former loves younger sister. Mairead was a child when he left over 10 years ago..but now she is a strong beautiful women. But he knows Mairead loved her family and wouldn't leave and he feels he won't stay...so they try to fight their growing feelings...but love doesn't stop.
"My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read."

Reading progress update: I've read 44%.
The Steel Kiss (A Lincoln Rhyme Novel) - Jeffery Deaver

At this point I hope Pulaski ends up killed off. I don't even want to know what he is up to at this point. Everyone is acting out of character.

Every Little Kiss
Every Little Kiss - Marina Adair The beauty of a Marina Adair novel is that, no matter how big or small, love is the force that drives them. The best way to read Ms. Adair is to listen with your heart. There is always a meaningful message behind the madness. Every Little Kiss, ponders a subject we all take for granted in a way that is humbling, humorous and hopeful. The small town presentation makes the journey more intimate but no less insightful. Life is a precious gift. Whether short or long, joyous or heartbreaking, the experiences are the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Trial or triumph, we don't want to miss a thing.

Kiss My Boots
Kiss My Boots - Harper Sloan Quinn is a great character. She's the anti-thesis of the princess in need of rescuing. She speaks her mind, can take care of herself and doesn't let stereotypes dictate her life. You can't help but admire a spitfire like Quinn. So it's only fair that this opinionated firecracker have an equally powerful and encourageable hero. Tate should have smooth operator tattooed on his forehead. He can lay on the charm. However, that particular skill lands him in trouble with matters of the heart. Ms. Sloan reeled me in with sassy dialogue, tempting characters and heartwarming moments. Kiss My Boots will walk all over your heart and leave you with a smile.
