Waiting for the One by L.A. Fiore $1.99 and KU
Waiting for the One - L.A. Fiore

Saffron Mills has lived all of her almost thirty years in Harrington, Maine—a small town where fishing is plenty, but available men are far too few. Yet it’s not just her dating dry spell that draws her to recent arrival Logan MacGowan. Tall, dark, and handsome, with emerald-green eyes and an impossibly hot body, Logan is a gorgeous enigma whose silence she takes for indifference…until one unforgettable chance meeting, when pent-up attraction ignites into the most intense encounter of her life.

In this quiet, quirky town, no one knows that Logan’s alter ego is famous sculptor and tabloid darling David Cambre. In New York, he had all the wrong kind of attention, but in Harrington, he’s found peace, privacy…and Saffron. She’s witty, forthright, and so much sexier and stronger than she knows. But how do you protect the love you’ve been waiting for when your own lifestyle could be destined to rip it apart?

Book Review For: Elusive Book One of Shipwreck series by L.A. Fiore
Elusive (Shipwreck Book 1) - L.A. Fiore
'Elusive' by L.A. Fiore is Book One of the "Shipwreck" series . This is the story of Willow and Kace/Noah. This book tells their story from when they were younger and how they grew to the people of today. Kace adn Willow didn't meet until 2009 when Willow took her Graduation trip without her parents who are usually off chasing treasure. So Willow went a head with her plans to go this trip alone just has her grandfather would have encouraged her to do so. There she meets Kace who they have a instant connection with. Kace has had a hard life growing up on the streets with his buddy Snake. Trying to move forward with his life but still living in the harshness of his life he meets Willow. A girl that is innocent and good. When they meet again the next day they end up spending the day and night together. Willow shows Kace some good in the world that helps to soften his hardness some. But they don't see each other again until years later. Neither one forgot the other and relived that day over and over. This was a great 'Second Chance at Love" story, along with some emotional writing that swept you into their story. This also had some adventures in their story. Loved it! "My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read." https://www.amazon.com/gp/profile/A2HX0B5ELOPP5Z?ie=UTF8&ref_=sv_ys_3 https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/1831318-sissy-s-romance-book-review-for-you https://twitter.com/soapsrus68 https://www.facebook.com/RomanceBookReview http://sissymaereads.blogspot.com/ http://booklikes.com/blog https://romancebookreviewforyou.wordpress.com/ https://www.tumblr.com/blog/romancebookreviewforyoublog https://plus.google.com/+SissyHicks

Great Story, Great Characters
A Glimpse of the Dream - L.A. Fiore

**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review**
Tegan Harper had lost her parents and went to live with her grandparents' best friend, Mrs. Marks. Tegan found another child lived at the house even though he was a little older. His name Kane. He helped her through the first night at the house. Mrs. Marks loved mysteries and who-done-its and they played a monthly game of Clue at the library. As time went by, Tegan grew to love Kane, not only as her friend but also as an ever after. Then came the time he declared his love for her.
Tegan had a tough break losing her parents but then found a new family. It was so empowering to watch her grow and so realistic, as if she was someone I knew and was remembering her story. The same with Kane. Their journey was so sweet and yet tortured in places that you wanted to root them on.
I couldn't stop reading. It was an awesome plot and story. They were absolutely stupendous characters. I highly recommend this story.

Waiting for the One Book Review
Waiting for the One - L.A. Fiore

L.A. Fiore's Waiting For The One hooked me from page one. Saffron Mills is fun, sarcastic, honest, and a kiss-asses-first, take names second kind of girl; one of the most relatable characters I have come across. Fiore does a great job in keeping Saffron's voice and character consistent from beginning to end without any reestablishing of Saffron's backstory or life before the here and now in the book, which is something I really appreciated.

I give this book 3 swordfishes; I mean stars ;-) (man talk about a running gag ^__^) because of the partial unreliability of Saffron’s first person narration. I often felt as though some scenes between her and Logan were always missing a few details and I found my self flip-flopping for and against their relationship because I doubted his true feelings and thoughts as they were being told to me by Saffron whom could be miss reading things herself.

Another reason is that I would have liked it if the two’s relationship—Saffron & Logan—had taken a bit longer to develop because I found I enjoyed single/solo Saffron way more than coupled/domestic Saffron. She was never more alive or like herself than when she was hanging out with her friends, with Frank, or on her own.

In addition, without giving too much away, my expectations regarding Logan’s shrouded past were lowered when I discovered his affluent connections not only as an artist, but with his family too. This deficiently overused cliché did put a damper in my reading experience. :-/

Moreover, the image or take on Logan’s character and personality came across as generic and often not trust worthy. When Logan finally starts to open up to Saffron I found myself distrusting his story and wanting their relationship to come to an end, even voicing, “It’s not too late, Saffron. You can still find yourself a decent fella before the end of this book.”

Regardless, it is not often I find myself on the same page with the protagonist as they dive into the unknown, face life altering decisions and events, but I did with this book. And I truly believe it was Fiore’s ability of crafting such a strong and independent thinking female protagonist—and the steamy love scenes—that will draw in any reader. One who would enjoy a story about life, love and change all in the festival having small town of Harrington, Maine.

Beautifully Forgotten (Beautifully Damaged series)
Beautifully Forgotten (Beautifully Damaged series) - L.A. Fiore I love this series!!!!!!!!!!

I think that there is something so special about this group. But more than that I think for me it was essentially the way this story is written. Ms. Fiore really knows how to intertwine her cast, in ways that I never saw coming. And I also think she writes such mature characters, in that people are able to move passed the past, and can really concentrate on the opportunities that they have at hand.

I have to say that I read the original story for Beautifully Damaged, so it took me a while to understand this story, but once I got everything understood, I think that the edits made the story more realistic. One lesson this book really teaches is that everyone has a good and bad side (except Heidi she was just a bitch) and we can't judge people based on an incident, or on a particular period of their lives. We also learn that everyone has secrets and when I say everyone I mean everyone.

But at the heart of this story are people who life has not always been kind to, but who have found a way to make it through, and more than that they have found people who can help them through the hard times. I loved this book, and I regret I took so long to pick it up. I hope there are more come cause Kyle needs a girl Ms. Fiore, I want you to undo that placental rupture, or make a miracle happen for Trace and Ember cause the world needs another Trace Montgomery
