Another hit in a great series
Lost Lyric (Found in Oblivion Book 4) - ... Lost Lyric (Found in Oblivion Book 4) - Cari Quinn,Taryn Elliott

My favorite trope is friends before lover and Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliot with this edition of found in oblivion was one of the best. Ryan and Denver are great together. Having them lean on each other and their friendship is great. Can they help each other through their pasts and issues. These two together is great one of my favorite couples in this series. I also love the fact in this series you get to see all of the people in the band and here from the significant others. You get to keep up with the whole lot of them. Can't wait for the rest of the band to pair up and more books by this pair of wonderful authors.

Lost Lyric (Found in Oblivion Book 4)
Lost Lyric (Found in Oblivion Book 4) - ... Lost Lyric (Found in Oblivion Book 4) - Cari Quinn,Taryn Elliott I received a copy of this book from the authors for an unbiased review.

I wasn't sure how I was going to like a book about Ryan and Denver. I mean, Denver - yeah, she's awesome. But Ryan was a bit of an enigma up until this point. I was pretty sure he wasn't going to be a dick - that spot is already taken by Malachi, but man, the field was wide open. Even a little ways in I still didn't have a handle on him.

Then Denver's inner monologue came. That's when I started to understand what Ryan was about. In fact, I think we learned more about him through Den than we did by hearing stuff straight from the horse's mouth. And I. LOVE. THAT.

My favorite stories are where you get the plot via context, not by reading a rambling narrative. Mind you, if that's written well, it can be good too, but it takes a skilled author to sneak you the details of the plot without handing them to you outright. There were moments in Lost Lyric where the characters came out and told "us" what was happening, but most of the time we learned about things because they unfolded naturally.

Both of the leads had mysterious backstories, although to differing degrees, and they dovetailed together nicely near the end of the book. I say "nicely," even though it was pretty tense and suspenseful - mostly because it didn't take up a lot of time. I liked that the majority of the book was about our couple, and not this backstory that could've made things cluttered and messy.

I have to put this book in the super hot and steamy category, because MAN OH MAN... the scene with the earbuds in the bus... CRAZYTOWN.

And don't worry, there are some cameos from familiar faces. Twisty, surprising cameos. The setup for the next book has me already salivating. Molly isn't my favorite character, in fact, I don't think you could PAY me to hang with her. That being said - if she gets taken down a peg or two by the Professor and the Rock Star, I'm 100% IN!

Lost Lyric was so close to perfect that I had to give it FIVE STARS. I can't wait for [b:Perfect Pitch|35112521|Perfect Pitch (Found in Oblivion Book 5)|Cari Quinn|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1494475820s/35112521.jpg|56423572], so... *grabby hands*

All great things must come to an end
Owned (Rockstar Romance) (Lost in Oblivion Book 5) - Cari Quinn,Taryn Elliott

All great things must come to an end, unfortunately. This is the final book of the oblivion saga. What a wonderful journey and the read ties up loose ends and also leaves options for other avenues for Taryn Elliot and Cari Quinn's other series to bring some of the characters in. The story was great and the writing was a wonderful as always. This book I didn't want to end. You get glimpses in on what's going on with Deacon and Harper, jazz and Gray, Simon and Margo, and of course Lila and Nick. Then the band as a group.

Wonderful read and great ending to the series.

Absolutely great
Fused (Rockstar Romance) (Lost in Oblivion, 4.5) - Cari Quinn,Taryn Elliott

This was actually one of my favorite books of the series, even though Simon is one of my favorite characters. But to see how much Nick is going through and you get to see he is going through a lot with the band, his family and with Lila. he feels like he is alone and he is looking for someone to be there for him, he does get some help with Jazz and Grey which is nice and even Margo. This series is great because you always have the band that is there and you always get to hear about them. Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliot out did their selves this time if that's possible. Now I have to wait the final book.

I NEED a Deacon!!
Rocked: Lost in Oblivion, Book 1 - Taryn Elliott,Cari Quinn,Wen Ross,Kai Kennicott,Taryn Elliott & Cari Quinn

Overall- ***** Performance- ***** Story- *****

Q- What did you love best about Rocked?
Q- What other book might you compare Rocked to and why?
A- I don't compare books, but I will say Rocked is up the top in my Rockstars list... WHY?? because the story was everything you want to read about, an AMAZING tour, then a possible signing, some backstabbing, just as the main characters are falling in love.
Q- What does Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
A- There are certain aspects to this book that made listening to Kai & Wen an absolute pleasure.
Q- Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
A- I laughed alot, also shook my head at some of the antics the characters were up to... please don't ask where, I've been in a "Rocked" hangover since I finished it.
Q- Any additional comments?
A- Harper & Deacon made me want to be on the road touring with a band, then super hungry when the food was being described. I felt like I was there within the story, ALL THE TIME, I definitely need the rest of this series ASAP!!
