Had a tear in my eye, not lying.
Christmas Past: A Chronicles of St Mary's Short Story - Jodi Taylor,Zara Ramm,Audible Studios

This was a really nice short read, for fans of the series.

It was all in the story - a bit of heartbreak for the realism in the christmas past.

And a bit of a christmas miracle :)

Snuggling up
A Christmas Promise by Mary Balogh (26-Oct-2010) Mass Market Paperback - Mary Balogh

Since I'm lucky(?) enough to be home early and experiencing a blizzard in my area right now, I'm going to snuggle up with this book.

Task the Third:  The Holiday Party:

- Read a book where a celebration is a big part of the action. Examples would include holiday parties, country house hunting/weekend parties, weddings, etc.

Enjoy the weekend everyone!

Mary's Christmas
Mary's Christmas - Laurie R. King

In many ways was this story way better than I thought it would be. For instance I thought that a story taking place when Mary was a child, way before she meet Sherlock wouldn't be that interesting. But the story was really good. Not a mystery or a crime story but a glimpse into Mary's childhood, before her parents and brother died.

Mary's Christmas (Mary Russell, 3.5)
Mary's Christmas - Laurie R. King

A quick short story that doesn't seem to really need to be read before or after any of the books beyond book 2 or 3 (they are obviously married here).  Not at all Christmassy, but entertaining, as Mary tells Holmes about one of her more colorful relatives and her first stroll down the less law-abiding side of life.

(I found it on Smashwords, but I believe it's available on Amazon as well.)
