Book Review for Silenced By Sin (Heaven's Guardians MC Book 2) by Ashley Lane
Silenced By Sin (Heaven's Guardians MC Book 2) Kindle Edition - Ashley Lane

Let's start off by saying that this is a first time author for us and we really enjoyed our first read by them.

The story drew you right in from the very first moment and kept you turning the pages right to the very end as it was intriguing and suspenseful and a heart felt emotional read.

Evander/Doc/Patch was one of my favorite characters right from the onset of the story.Patch is a real-time doctor and also a patch member who has suffered unbelievable loss in his life which has affected his life daily as he carries around unbelievable guilt that ways him down but, he was also about healing and justice most of all has a great big hug heart .

Alaska was a amazing mom mother to Grace and was a women who was strong and determined had a bit of sass but, she was also a survivor who did what was necessary and the best she could to take care of her little girl even through dire circumstances she did her best.We loved Alaska from the onset of meeting her she never let life beat her down .

Grace was another character you could not help but, fall in love with.Being deaf from birth the girl melted hearts whoever she came in contact with and after years of heartbreak she did the impossible she made Patch feel something again and is melting that ice around his heart and he was not only falling in love with the mother he was also falling in love with the daughter as well.

We really enjoyed the story from beginning to end.One of the things we loved the most about the story was it was its characters as they were awesome and funny and specially Willow Priest their Presidents old lady these badass bikers were afraid of her sass .lol

The story had suspense and intrigue and love but, it was also about healing and moving on and showed us the lengths one would go to protect those they love and now call family. The road to love for both Patch and Alaska was not and easy one but, for Patch it will be worth it in end the as he tries to put his past behind him and who new that fate would put Alaska in his path once again to right a wrongs done to her so many years ago.

For us overall it was a well written tale that we loved beginning to end and can't wait to read Bullet's read next as it is going to be and interesting one.

Book Review for Defending Roxanne (GHOST Book 2) by PJ Fiala
Defending Roxanne (GHOST Book 2) Kindle Edition - Pj Fiala

This was another great read in this ongoing series.I love a story that has strong female characters and this story had just that.Roxanne has grown up in a military household and her father and brothers made sure she was able to protect herself so its not surprising that she takes it upon herself to solve the murders of her parents and a foreign military dignitary in their mitts.

I loved Roxanne from the onset of the story as she was a strong character also smart and clever as well as sassy and a women who grew up in a home with tons of love.

Hawk Delaney was a character who is all about getting the job done and a man who is definitely haunted with his past after 10 years of guarding his heart one slip of a girl has shaken the man to his core.

I loved the story from beginning to end and everything in between and I have to say I think Roxanne rocked throughout the whole story with her working with the team of GHOST members she was finally getting the answers she had been wanting and was a big part of solving her own mystery and we just loved that. The story drew you in right from the very beginning as it was action packed and intriguing to the very end .One thing we also loved is that the story has a really great cast of characters that make you laugh and they all have a wicked sense of humor and even the slightly broken ones start healing when they meet the one meant for them.

We can't wait to see what happens next !

Book Review for Service and Sacrifice (Borderline Freaks MC Book 1) by MariaLisa deMora
Service and Sacrifice (Borderline Freaks MC Book 1) Kindle Edition - MariaLisa deMora

This was such as an amazing read as it was heartfelt and emotional and makes you realize we should live our life to the fullness each and everyday.

I have to say I felt the pain that Amanda was living with the author made it feel real and you were right along side her experiencing the loss and heartache she was.

Amanda was a character easy to love and it was apparent from the onset of the story deeply in love with her husband and her heartbreak and loss overwhelming at times.

A chance meeting between Alex and Amanda puts both of them on the path of healing and letting go of ones past and moving forward. The courtship of you could call it between this couple was quite endearing and heartfelt and a little bit scary for both of them.

Alex was a character that you could not help but fall in love immediately and him beginning an ex military soldier himself understood her feelings and what she was experiencing with the loss of her husband but, also admired her for her the strength and determination that it takes to love a military man.

A beautiful story and and even more beautiful ending of a story that definitely tugged at the heartstrings of this reader.

Well this one just tickled my fancy...
Nothing Special: His Heart's Desire - A.E. Via,Aiden Snow

I've listened to this series from the first book and honestly for the most part it's been ok not great not bad just ok but with some memorable moments, that is until now...

I very much enjoyed the last book "Nothing Special V" which was about Tech and his recon marine Edwin Steele but at the end of that book there were some things that hinted at who this book would be about and while we've met Ivan Hart, the leader of the S.W.A.T. team that backs up God and Days task force in previous books it was only at the end of 'Nothing Special V' that we get a hint of Lennox Freeman hacker extraordinaire and best friend to Tech.

Ivan and Lennox worked for me...they just clicked and I loved these two men together. Ivan in all his alpha male bravado but still seeming so vulnerable when we get a peek at his insecurities when it comes to his relationship with Lennox and his struggles to overcome the insecurities that he was left with as a result of his marriage. I just loved Ivan, he really was a big old teddy bear.

Lennox has a past that speaks to abuse and while he struggles with his fears in certain situations he never stops working to overcome them and not let those fears run his life. He's truly one of the bravest characters in this series and I absolutely loved how much he wanted to give Ivan the type of relationship that he deserved...loving and supportive. It's actually what both men deserve and it was such a positive force for both men to draw on. I also really, really enjoyed Lennox and his snark...seriously no one does snark like a Brit.

"His Hart's Command" is by far my favorite story in this series and once again the narration is provided by Aiden Snow giving the listener the continuity of voices for characters and narration that can truly mean the difference between an ok listening experience and a truly enjoyable one.

As with previous stories the author has left us with a potential pairing for a possible future story and in this case neither man is a member of God and Days task force but they are every bit as alpha male as the men in previous stories and with names like Fox and Bull how could I not want that story...so, I'm just going to keep my fingers crossed that this is going to be a thing and hopefully it'll be a thing one day soon.

While I appreciated having been offered a copy of this book for review I own this one because I was so anxious to listen to this one that I purchased a copy as soon as I saw that it was available...which was basically as soon as I finished listening to 'Nothing Special V'...what can I say 'will power, I has none and I regret nothing!'

Book Review for More Than Enough (Borderline Freaks MC Book 2) by MariaLisa deMora
More Than Enough (Borderline Freaks MC Book 2) Kindle Editio - MariaLisa deMora

Let's start off by saying this is a brand new author for us and we really enjoyed out first read by them and I have to say it is going to take a bit of getting used to the authors writing style but, I have to say that this story was heartfelt and endearing and emotional with flawed characters that feel undeserving.

We loved both the main characters Blade and Jenn from the onset of the story. This couple just clicked for one another right from the onset of their first meeting.

As the story progressed the couple grew closer in a short of amount of time and things starting happening for them at warp speed but, it just worked for them sometime you just know there the one and the chemistry was explosive.

Jenn's character surprised me the most as she was one tough cookie who had this huge heart and was beautiful on the inside as she was out.

Blade was a man struggling with some personal issues where he felt vulnerable and unworthy but, the love of a good women is about to change all that.

The story revolves around a bunch of ex military solider's who found a place in a MC and once again part of a brotherhood. Some of these members struggle more that others but, their feelings and fears are real and when they start to spiral their brothers are to take each others backs.

Overall I have to say we loved it from beginning to end and we are also so loving these characters the are all worming they way into my heart already.

"So loving this series so far !"
