I give up. I think I'm done for the night. Two of my favorite characters have finally showed up and the end is in sight. However, I'm falling asleep in the middle of the big explanation of Jaz's issues...so yeah, it's time to say goodnight, Gracie.

And I love her new way of seeing colors! Though I don't think pink could ever be redeemed...particularly not Pepto-Bismol Pink.

Here are a few quotes to show you why I'm currently worrying my husband by laughing hysterically every few minutes! 

Fear sucks. Because you never know when it will attack. Sometimes it sneaks up behind you, giggling like your best girlfriend from seventh grade. What is it about people who know you best? You never reveal to them the secret location of you make-me-crazy buttons and yet, like toddlers at preschool, they root them out and push them repeatedly, Mine are directly connected to hand grenades.

Finished! I thoroughly enjoyed this book and learned a great deal. I believe even someone very knowledgeable concerning the Civil War would learn something new from this, as there are so many levels to the writing. The review is percolating and I hope to have it up later this evening. This is definitely going on my To Buy list!
