"Have no fear—the Baloney Festival will still go on, though he’s threatening to set up a tofaloney booth. Either way, the Bratwurst Wagon has been permanently disinvited."
Mister McHottie: A Billionaire Boss / Brother's Best Friend / Enemies to Lovers Romantic Comedy - Pippa Grant
It was okay. There were definitely parts I found humorous. I had some irritation with the language and the antics of the main characters. As I said, it was okay for what it was.

Great Story and Characters
Flame - Grant, Donna Living among the Dragon Kings, Cain has spent lifetimes learning to distrust both mortals and Fae. He is a warrior born—and every instinct demands that he fight to keep his own kind safe. But when a fringe member of the Dark Fae contacts the Kings with an urgent warning, Cain is torn for the first time. How can he trust this beautiful creature when resisting his primal attraction to her is battle enough? I REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted this to be Con’s book, so I don’t mind admitting my initial disappointment when it was Cain instead of Con. However, I then delved into the book and lost my disappointment. Right from the beginning, I was pulled into Noreen’s situation and Cain’s determination. By the end, I was disappointed again, but only because the book was over. I absolutely loved it and can’t wait for Con’s book next month! I highly recommend. **I voluntarily read and reviewed this book

Review: Court of Miracles
The Court of Miracles - Kester Grant

I received a copy from Netgalley.

I was really excited when I got the approval for this one. One of the rare books I knew right away was going to be an epic once I started reading. Seeing “Six of Crows” comparisons tend to make me roll my eyes as it usually involves a break in to some impossible place of some sort. It was really the “Les Mis” comparison that drew me in for this one.

Though it took a while for me to spot anything resembling Les Miserable. I thought the world building was absolutely fascinating. I didn’t really get much of a sense of 1800s Paris though, it was more about the Courts and the characters, but the sense of place, the gloom and grittiness came through as the story progressed.

There was a dark sense of foreboding and dread throughout the whole thing, and something morbidly fascinating about it as well. Beautifully written and evocative, the novel was impossible to put down. I’m really looking forward to more from this series.

Thank you to HarperCollins UK, Harper Fiction for approving my request to view the title.

David is being on-loan to MI5
More Harm Than Good - Andrew Grant

David was in the hospital. He was there because he was being hit on the head one too many times. While he was there, he needed to rest and didn't checked out of the hospital by himself.

A thief came to his room and stole his boots. He likes his boots and wants them back. So he tried to catch the thief. He did met someone else and he knocked him out. The thing is, this guy was working for MI5.

So... his left one agent partner-less. He was then ordered to stay longer in the hospital to help out this agent. There was some highly radioactive stored near the hospital. The agent got news that there is a danger that someone would steal these radioactive materials that could be used as poison or dirty bomb.

The running around is a bit strange. So who is the bad guy here?

There is some actions and some plot twists. It is an OK fun read.

Dark Craving - Donna Grant

With Con’s book coming out later this year, I had the desire to re-read the series and first up was Dark Craving, Hal and Cassie’s story. With having already read the series I did notice a few things about Ulrik's story that changed, and Con seemed more accepting of Cassie than I remembered. I loved revisiting where it all started. Rhys was very much against the relationship, which I forgot about, and Hal and Cassie steamed up the page beautifully. Loved it and ready for more.
