Book Review for Primal Need by Piper Davenport
Primal Need (Primal Howlers MC Book 2) Kindle Edition - Piper Davenport

First off let us start off my saying that we love the cover and we really loved this current story.

This story was fun and intriguing and had a cast of amazing characters that we could not help but love them all.Once we started reading we were engrossed in the story to the very end and we could not put it down.

Wyatt we loved her from the onset of the story with her quick whit and vibrant personality which was a tell it like it is kind of girl and she was also a sexy and strong character even though she likes to play things safe but, that all changed the minute an arrogant biker decided to woo her.

Sundance Hum....that man was a whole lot of alpha and crude, arrogant and bit of and a-hole but, we have to say falling for a strong independent women had him toning things down and bit and we could help but love the sexy beast of the man ourselves.

The chemistry between these two was totally hot and sexy and the sex scenes definitely fan worthy."Smokin Hot"

I loved the plot and Wyatt and the way she cared for and love her brother aka Teddy Bear who had disabilities and we love how he captured hearts where ever he went.

Overall a really loved this story as it made us laugh out loud the entire story and had a bit of suspense and betrayals and lets not forget it had a awesome cast of characters and that love was found in the most usual of places and it was a love story that was paved with a lot of bumps in the road and a whole lot of groveling .... lol

We have so say that this story had one of my favorite endings. This story was also one that you were still thinking about days later and when it is still on your mind days later that for me just makes this one fantastic read for us !

Review: No Strings Attached [DNF]
No Strings Attached - Harper Bliss,Angela Dawe

I tried.

I really tried.

It started interesting, but immediately the best friend became the annoying overbearing I-know-what's-best-for-you friend trope.  And then the protagonist falls for a person who had been an absolute dick to them when they first met.

Then the love interest turns out to be pretty okay (first meeting was still a dick move though) and the protagonist turns into a clingy, whiney, we-slept-together-once-and-now-I-want-a-committed-relationship trope.

I tired to hate-listen, but every one of the characters just got on my nerves and I just couldn't even.

I hated that the best friend got to decide when it was time for the protagonist to come out as bi or a lesbian and to immediately get out there and start dating.  I always thought every person needed to do things at their own pace.

I hated that the protagonist let her best friend push her into something she wasn't necessarily ready for.  And then she fell in love with the first woman she slept with, even after the woman made it VERY CLEAR that she was not looking for anything more than a friends-with-benefits relationship for various reasons, one of which was that she was always travelling for work and wasn't around long enough to commit.

I hated that her new boss's wife decided to set her up with one of their friends without even clearing it with her first.  She shows up for dinner and chats with the boss while they wait for her wife to arrive.  Low and behold the wife arrives with a "friend" they've been thinking about setting her up with.  After that I was just out.

This was not enjoyable for me.

I have no clue why I am so determined to finish this. It's really not doing it for me.  I don't think any of the characters are likeable to me.  Maybe the ex-husband who was thoughtful enough to have a sit down with Micky, the protagonist, to inform her that he was dating someone and that he wanted to introduce his new girlfriend to their children.   It was nice that he included her in that since she is the mother of his children and should be kept aware of new people in their lives.  I'm really not liking any of the other characters,  which is sad.

Reading progress update: I've listened 50 out of 360 minutes.

I actually don't know what point I'm at in the book. I just restarted the book during the ride home from work. Micky, the protagonist, just said yes to a date with a woman who was previously rude to her just because she was a barista and didn't know how to make her regular drink--because she was a brand new employee and of course wouldn't know the woman's regular drink.  Anyone who is rude to service personnel just because they can be doesn't deserve the time of day, not even in romantic fiction!

Just dumb. I think I'm going to hate-listen to the rest of thos audiobook because it's just ridiculous! Thank goodness I only paid $.99 for it!!!!
