Review: Telling Details by Kat Duncan
Telling Details - Kat Duncan

This was a Nook and Amazon freebie I downloaded a long time ago. Uhh, I almost feel guilty counting this as a full book I read this year because it was super short - I read it in under ten minutes. I think it was a compilation of blog posts on the measure of when to tell details within a work. The information was helpful, I'm not going to deny that, and it's a free resource for anyone who wants to pick it up. But it was just okay.

I found the information on when telling details *doesn't* work to be quite helpful, as well as the breakdown of sensory details and things to expand upon with that, but most of the information I'll admit I already knew and have read about it in more expanded details in other narratives. But it was worth the time taken to read.

Overall score: 2/5 stars
