Short Review: OMGEEEEE. I want to stop reading! Please! Ugh. I guess Max has fallen for Fang so badly that the main plot/issue at hand has been pushed to the side. This book was too short. Patterson just wrote it to make money. Glad i only get books from the library. So frustrating.

Maximum Ride: The Final Warning by James Patterson Book Review
The Final Warning - James Patterson

Hello.

Yesterday I finished The Final Warning, Which is the fourth book in the Maximum Ride series by James Patterson.

In this book Max and the rest of the Flock go to Antarctica to save the world by stopping global warming, and Max is confused about her feelings toward Fang.

I like this book. It wasn't the best MR book ever, but it was okay.  But there are four things I don't like, but I'll talk about that later.

I love Max and Fang!  [spoiler] But Seriously, Max, Fang kissed you, and you flew away!  Again!  Why Max, why?!

And Iggy could see for, like, a minute? Just by looking at nothing but snow?  Can that really happen, or is James Patterson just making stuff up?  I was both Happy for Iggy and Confused.

Another thing I liked how some of the Flock members got new powers.  One of the reasons why I love Maximum Ride is because it's like X-Men.

But I hate, hate, hate Brigid Dwyer.  [spoiler] She was flirting with Fang!  And she's, like, seven years older then him!

Another thing I wasn't too happy about was the global warming stuff in the book.  Don't get mad at me, I'm just giving my honest opinion on a book, so don't get mad when I say I'm not a big fan of the global warming stuff.

One more thing, how does Total suddenly have wings?

That's it for now.

The Final Warning (Maximum Ride, #4) - J... The Final Warning (Maximum Ride, #4) - James Patterson Where were they going with this book? Other than the characters this book didn't have a lot to do with the series. The global warming that took up 3/4ths of the book was a little out of left field. The first three books were mostly about the flock's survival. In this one that seemed like a leaser consideration. The authors put them in situations then it seemed like they said, "Oh wait we can't kill them. Huh."Max kept saying they needed to be distrustful of everyone. Problem with that was Max trusted everyone. The only two people she didn't trust were actively trying to harm her when they met. This would have been less noticeable if every time we went into Max's thoughts she didn't go on about her angst over Fang and her inability to trust anyone outside of the flock.Plot lines were started then they would just stop. It was like a staircase that led to a brick wall. One example: the bad guys made a point of saying they were there at this time for certain purposes. Then nothing.I did like the relationship between Max and Fang. They both like each other, but don't know what to do with it. Max is a confused teenager instead of a character with all the answers.
