Eating the Forbidden Fruit is a gritty fiction novel loosely based on true events in author Roland Sato Page life. The newcomer author delivers a personal journey into his rise and demise as a St. Louis City Police Officer. He takes the readers on a roller coaster ride of good ole family memories to the nightmarish reality of being a police officer indicted on federal drug charges. During his trial he wrote memoirs as a testimonial of redemption. Roland case stems from conflict of his childhood affiliation and his oath to uphold the law. What is certain one can't run from sin for karma is much faster. Falling from grace can be like hell on earth. The novel will be available March 2020.

My Thoughts....

All that is left to say is wow! What a read with so much drama with all of the interesting characters whether it was with Shayla, Starr, Romeo, Desmond, Eviva, Dro, Ashley, Kim, Tyree and even Quay? Be ready for quite a roller coaster ride because this author really gives the reader quite a well written journey that is still not completely finished yet as we are left once again in a cliffhanger wondering who is still alive.

My Thoughts....

This was a interesting paranormal romance read that had some very interesting characters from Mendesa, Skot, Man, Sha'Lae, Leonie and Ms. Aurora to name a few from the story that will keep you turning the pages. There will be quite a few unanswered questions and secrets with twist and turns that were left from this novel that hopefully we will get in the next part two of this read. Be ready for a insane story that will leave you wanting more.

"The Fist That Bound Me" by Trinity Dekane

My Thoughts...

What a well written story with so much sadness and emotional pain that dealt with such domestic abusive violence that happened to these girls [Jade, Corrina, Telissa & Dee] that many have gone through. How they made it through it was really a horrible story. I still wish Jade would have told her mother on just what was going on with her father. But oh well this happens and naturally Jade would end up with someone like Greg who used 'his badge for all the wrong reasons.' However, thank God Malcolm comes into the picture and to learn the rest of the story you will have to pick up this phenomenal good read to see who well this author brings out this journey all out to the reader. I found this story a very realistic one and that ending was really something!

I love what the author also presents to the readers concerning this subject matter at the end of the read. Would I recommend this novel? YES!

My Thoughts.....

What a read that will definitely leave you 'speechless.' The characters from Linx, Reesee, Angel, Vincent to Harriet to name a few will definitely give the reader quite a dramatic read. I don't know who I felt more sorrier for between Reesee and Angel. To me they both were quite a trip! Those two....Linx and Vincent ...really? Anyway we are left with a cliffhanger... 'To be continued....So, we are left wondering what is happening! So, be ready for a very interesting read that will keep you turning the pages to see what is going to happen next with these characters..
