3 women in the same family die the same way in this Icelandic detective novel.
Whiteout - Ragnar Jónasson

This detective thriller takes place in Iceland and involves an investigation by Ari Thor, the main detective, and his ex-boss in northern Iceland where three women have died in similar fashion in a lonely spot. We learn more about Ari Thor as his girlfriend is heavily pregnant.

The whole thing is engaging and well-written as the characters are developed and fleshed out. I enjoyed this and ploughed through it quite quickly which is always a good sign. It's the third of these novels by Jonasson that I've read and I preferred it to Blackout and Rupture. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

12 Days of Death Note: Whiteout
Death Note, Vol. 5: Whiteout - Tsugumi Ohba,Takeshi Obata

I liked this part less compared to the previous ones. Without spoiling I can only say that it takes rather a big turn from the rest of the series so far, and it's not the most interesting part of Death Note. However, it does fit in the bigger scheme and it not like it is not nice to read.

Whiteout
Whiteout - Elyse Springer

What a damn nice surprise read that was!  I really loved it all.  From the suspense, to the uncomfortable not knowing what the hell to believe, to the ending. I was pretty captivated throughout the entire book.  About halfway through the book the direction shifts a good bit and while I was good with the direction, it could have also gone a completely different direction and I think I would have been just as pleased.  I do wish we would have gotten some dual POV, especially towards the end, or perhaps even switching completely at Part 2.

**Highly Recommended**

Also - I am kinda disappointed that the next in this series is FF.  Yikes.  I mean whatever floats your boat, but that does not interest me at all.  Too bad really as I really enjoyed this author.
