What's the worst thing that can happen to a werewolf? Unable to shift for three months, Mateo Cruz knows all too well. His wolf has taken up residence in his head, taunting him night and day with vividly violent and carnal thoughts. Convinced he's cursed, he needs the help of a powerful witch before he literally goes insane.

Evie Savoie has always obeyed the house rules of her coven--no werewolves. They're known for being moody and volatile. So, when a distempered, dangerous werewolf strolls into the bar and almost strangles one of her late-night customers, she's ready to bounce him through the door. But the desperation in his eyes when he begs her to help him softens her heart and convinces her to bend the rules.

What Evie doesn't know is that Mateo's wolf has a mind of his own. And now that she's in his sights, he wants only one thing. Her.

Wolf Gone Wild is book one in Stay A Spell series by Juliette Cross. This is a brand new series by Ms. Cross and it’s different from her previous work in that it’s more light-hearted and fun. Not as intense or deep as her previous work.

Evie Savoie is a talented curse/hex breaker. She works at her sisters bar/restaurant and also her other sisters book shop. She’s a well rounded women who is full of life, but also has some insecurity’s about her art work; which her ex-boyfriend put into her head.

Mateo Cruz and his wolf side Alpha. Cruz has always had control over Alpha, but something is blocking him from shifting and now things are getting out of control. He thinks someone has cursed him. He’s a loner and a wonderful metal worker.

The Savoie sisters. We meet several of them since the witches are a close nit family. Each has their own personalities, issues, and specialties with magic. I had fun meeting the Savoie sisters and look forward to more.

As for Mateo and Evie their romance was a slow build. Evie has always been told to stay away from werewolves and Mateo has this issue with shifting, so both are hesitant at first. We slowly see them moving out of their comfort zones and as they spend time together, they form a bond, a friendship which becomes more.

The romance was just sweet. Wolf Gone Wild was an enjoyable and light-hearted read. I really enjoyed the monologue of Alpha and how he drove Cruz a little crazy with his thoughts. It add humor and a few laughs. As to why Cruz can’t shift, well that mystery surprised me. I never guessed who it was and when it was reviled; I was like really. I had no indication it was that person, so the author did a wonderful job hiding who the bad guy is.

Wolf Gone Wild is a fun, light-hearted, cute, and magical read.

Wolf Nation: The Life, Death, and Return of Wild American Wolves by Brenda Peterson
Wolf Nation: The Life, Death, and Return... Wolf Nation: The Life, Death, and Return of Wild American Wolves (A Merloyd Lawrence Book) - Brenda Peterson

Wolves are my favorite animal.  So, when I saw this book, I was instantly intrigued.  Brenda Peterson does a nice job with portraying the historic and scientific aspect of saving the wild American wolves.  I am knowledgeable about wolves, yet I learned a lot through this book.   It is well documented, researched, and supported.  WOLF NATION is skillfully written and an informative read.  I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Great Story and Characters
Wild Wolf: BBW Paranormal Shapeshifter Romance (The Wolf Shifters of Raven Ridge Book 2) - Tessa Clarke

Sasha’s mother was dying from cancer the doctors said she had at most three months to live. Sasha’s father was a cop. Sasha had a beautiful voice and had went to Nashville and she was offered a contract but had to before oral sex on one of the big wigs of the label to be able to sign. And she declined and returned to her home. Even though Sasha had went to college she was still a virgin. Sasha’s mother wanted her to marry Ben. who her mom thought was a fine young man. But Sasha didn’t want Ben. Then Sam Stone came to church to hear Sasha sing. When Sasha was walking home Sam asked her to sing with his band. Sam had been Sasha’s H S crush although he didn’t know it. What Sasha doesn’t know is that Sam is a wolf shifter. Sam also thinks that Sasha may be his mate. I loved this story it kept me glued to it right from the start. Outstanding story and plot and writting. It was fairly fast paced and instalove - or lust. But with shifters involved a bit more excepted at least for me. I loved the ins and outs of this story. I highly recommend. I received an ARC of this story for an honest review.

Rogue Alpha: Wolf Shifter Romance (Wild Lake Wolves Book 1)
Rogue Alpha: Wolf Shifter Romance (Wild Lake Wolves Book 1) - Kimber White There is a marked difference in the male lead (Malcolm) from when he first appeared in Claimed by the Pack . In that story he was edgier, craftier and a larger force to deal with. Heck, I had some serious trouble figuring out who I wanted to cheer for. In Rogue Alpha, Malcolm is tame, but this fact doesn't change the fact that this was a good read. The heroine is competent and there isn't any want to reach through the pages to give her a good smack. Storyline is a bit rushed but there isn't any skimping on the lovey dovey scenes. Overall rating is 3.25

Jett's Wild Wolf
Jett's Wild Wolf - Elle Boon Jett's Wild Wolf - Elle Boon Wow, great action packed story between two rival wolf shifter packs. The book kept me interested and glued to my kindle until the end. The plot was well thought out and the characters engaging. There was action and plenty of sizzle and to top it off a HEA. Brilliant, I loved it.
