A Christmas Hex: Winter Wonderland Collection
A Christmas Hex: Winter Wonderland Collection - Jordan L. Hawk Not Jordan L. Hawk's best work but far from her worst. This short story has some plot holes and could have been executed better but it still was easy and fun to read. Though I wonder how on earth do you recognize a wolf hair for what it is?

Morning Snowy Walk

Task the First:  The Winter Wonderland:

- If you are lucky enough to live in a snowy place, or even if you aren't, take a walk outside and post a picture of something pretty you encountered on your way!

We didn't come across anything out of the norm pretty, just general great atmosphere. However, I thought I better do this task while there was snow on the ground, it wasn't too cold for me, and we had the time. I'll be sure to bring my phone on any other snowy walks we get to take :)

Task the First: The Winter Wonderland : Six of Crows

If you haven't read about "The 12 Tasks of the Festive Season" created by Moonlight Blizzard (Moonlightreader) & Obsidian Claus (Obsidianblue), it is bascially a list of things to do and to read during the festive season (from November 1st to January 2). It seems like a lot of fun so I decided to join in. Go read these posts if you're interested :)

Task the First: The Winder Wonderland

- Read a book that is set in a snowy place V

- If you are lucky enough to live in a snowy place, or even if you aren't, take a walk outside and post a picture of something pretty you encountered on your way: It has been raining for days here... I'm waiting for a more beautiful weather to take pictures outside :)

The book I chose for this one was: Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo. The plot takes place in Ketterdam, but most of the action happened in The Ice Court (which is really snowy). I really enjoyed this book, I gave it 4/5 stars. Go read my entire review on Goodreads.

Thanks  for reading,

Line.

Don't venture beyond the cover
Starry Night: A Christmas Novel - Debbie Macomber

1.5 stars

Read this for 12 Tasks of the Festive Season:

Task the First: The Winter Wonderland:
- Read a book that is set in a snowy place.

I think I sub-consciously rounded up because of how gorgeous the cover is. The hero and heroine spend around 96hrs together, 48 of that is contentious. I have no earthly idea when they fall in love, she leaves Alaska and suddenly he is texting her and they're in a relationship. Hero has serious women hating issues, as in hating ALL women. His mother and father got divorced when he was young and his father wouldn't let his mother take him 50% and then hero had one bad romantic relationship. The women hating was over-the-top and not attractive in the least. Heroine was a rude buttiniski.
There was no romance in this to speak of.
I liked the dog.
Fin.

Starry Night: A Christmas Novel - Debbie Macomber

I'm not really liking this women hating hero.

Plus, they're in a relationship?! I feel like I missed something. :/
