All the Stars!
Blood Red Road - Moira Young

OK Jordyn...breathe...

If you know me I do NOT give a lot of five stars. I'm not one of those people who just hand out five stars to every book I 'liked'. A book has to be pretty fucking amazing to receive five stars from me, let alone go onto my favorites shelf. To get onto my favorites shelf a book has to:

~Have beautiful writing that keeps me hooked from the first page to the last page

~Have memorable characters who I will never forgot no matter how many books I read after this one. I will always remember Saba and how bad ass she is

~have a unique story plot

~Basically keeping me up all night

Blood Red Road had this and MORE. This was seriously one of the best YA books I have ever read in my life. This is up there for me along with; Daughter of Smoke and Bone, Harry Potter, and The Hunger Games.

and Jack....

Seriously guys, read this book! The writing may be a bit different, but you forget all about that once you get sucked into the story.

That Ending!
Until You're Mine - Samantha Hayes

4.5 stars

This could have easily been a 5 star read for me. By 30% I was close to just giving it 5 stars because it's that intense. The only reasons why this did not get a full 5 from me is because the confusing POVs and the whole undercover crap was just thrown in at the end.

Each chapter is a different POV and you can't tell whose chapter it is until you get through a few paragraphs. Is it so hard to put the character's name at the top of the page? Seriously, when I buy my own copy of this I'm writing in the character's name at the beginning of each chapter so I'm not confused next time I read this.

THIS SPOILER CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS THAT WILL RUIN THE WHOLE BOOK SO DO NOT READ IF YOU DON'T WANT TO HAVE THE BOOK RUINED FOR YOU.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

When I found out that Zoe was an undercover cop shocked and confused the hell outa me. The reason why she was chosen for the case was so random that it really didn't have anything to do with the story. It seemed like the author just through that in there about the crimes Elizabeth's brothers did.

BUT HOLY FUCK THAT ENDING IS SO FUCKING TWISTED! I seriously did NOT see that coming.

I wouldn't have thought that Claudia faked her pregnancy. I did find it odd that she kept talking about her miscarries, but didn't really think anything of it.

Kudos to Hayes on writing a twisted thriller/mystery that keeps you guessing until the very end. And that last sentence?
