Valerie and Alec have been best friends for a long time. With the exception of being attracted to one another, there have been no hiccups in their friendship. Honesty is one of the best things they love about each other.
Alec is now a rock star and loved by all. Going to their high school reunion, he is the most popular person there. Val is still on the outside. Or is she? He kisses her and the walls start to break down.
Val is unaware he is secretly in love with her all this time. Keeping their friendship has been the most important thing for both of them. All they have is each other.
Such a rewarding and amazing story! This book has everything. I was especially proud of the best friend aspect, and how it plays out.

- What is your favorite genre to write?
Hmmm…I would say anything funny. I love writing comedy.
- Did you have a favorite book/author growing up?
Judy Blume was my favorite author growing up, ANYTHING by her.
- Do you write to music? Do you make any playlists for your books?
I don’t. I know it’s crazy, but I need total silence when I write. I get too caught up in the lyrics of songs to have a playlist.
- If you could write anything at all, any genre, any book, magazine, etc., what would it be?
I would love to be able to write a mystery or suspense because they are my favorite books to read. They seem so hard to get right because of how complex they are.
- Readers love to get to know you! Can you let us in on 1 secret something we do not know about you?
I’m pregnant and due in May and wrote most of this book-- the sexiest book I’ve ever written-- while pregnant.
