I have read several books by this author with that said. This is one of my favorites.
I have read many MC books, but this was a bit different. Typically the male has that Alpha role but in this Raiden takes that patch. She is left for her father to raise after her mother passes. Her dad although the top head of the club has allowed her to be separate in all club details besides one thing and she is dang good at it.

A few issues come into play. Your life is not out to all around you such as your boyfriend who is also the District Attorney and has it out for your dad who he doesn't know is your dad.
Enter a new club member Luka who has now turned your brain and world upside down.

I can't wait to see where this series takes us. There were quite a few grammar errors but they didn't take from the story.
I enjoyed this book and if you like a little grit pick up your copy.

It would be easy to love each of them…and hard to choose just one of them.

Thankfully, some aliens come in variety packs.

 

 

 

Review

This is a short science fiction romance with many common tropes but the heroes are sweet and fierce as is the heroine and it will be fun to see where this world goes. 

Larkspur was the next to have her birthday and her wish. She wished to know people's thoughts, only the problem is, she can't tune them out. This opens with her withdrawn and slowly going insane. But her gift comes in handy because the sisters come across a deer that is really a man.
Larkspur's gift comes in handy in this one. She is able to figure out who the culprit is and saves the day. Ivy shows her unselfishness and uses her gift for Larkspur. Ivy was crippled from her father's abuse. I liked how it didn't matter to Hugh. Again, the love progresses quickly in this one as well.
Well paced, with some mystery, intrigue, and romance.

Fey Quartet bundle out Nov 1st

My review contains spoilers and they're mostly my thoughts...

 

Ivy’s Choice is the third installment of the magical new historical romance series by author Emily Larkin. This short “prologue” to the Baleful Godmothers series, and book 3 of The Fey Quartet, had quite a different storyline. Had to be my favorite one so far! :)

 

The Fey Quartet portrays the backdrop telling the tales of the ancestors of the heroines of The Baleful Godmother series, the first scheduled to be published in November 2016. Even though it’s not necessary, after reading first 3 prologues, I highly recommend that you start with them as each story clarifies how a bloodline of humans, particularly the females, came to be in possession of a special ability of their own.

 

The Fey Quartet is set in Dapple Vale, a place hidden from the human eyes, though the ones that dwell there are humans...

 

All in the name of love...

Won an ARC so this will be an early review. How much death can one man take? in this case, wolf? For those who read The Redwood Series, you would know what i am talking about. From the moment these two people saw each other there was this intense attraction that was inevitable. But Fate, as they say, is fickle. From Brynn's struggles to Finn's determination to form the Mating Bond, this book will be loved because of the story it's represents. Hope.

The characters tried their best to ignore what is happening, thus hurting them self in the process. The way the story was laid out was made reader want to throw and kiss the book at the same time. Keeping them on their toes. Though now, I'm no my toes waiting for Ryder's story.

Death. Hope. Determination. Love.

Those are the four words i can share that describes this book.
